This podcast is a quick escape from your daily stressors.
After reading lot of self help books
over the years, I realised how important it is to slow down sometimes, in the process of your self growth journey and how your thoughts can change your life directly.
Most of my friends have confessed me about
feeling trapped in the same situation and
experiencing it everyday and how vulnerable they have become because of their past experiences.
So, Why does it happen ?
If any of the above sounds familiar to you, then this podcast is for you!
Being the elder sister comes with a strange mix of emotions - a little responsibility, a little protectiveness, silent pride, and moments where you realise your younger sibling is also teaching you things about life.
In this episode, I talk about how we have always been there for each other - through confusion, excitement, growing up, and figuring out who we are becoming. And the beautiful part is that the excitement of our bond never really faded. That childlike connection is still there.
This is a story about sisterhood, learning from each other, and the quiet comfort of knowing someone has known you since the very beginning.

I Didn’t Know Which Words Were Mine
In my childhood, there were two kinds of words around me.
One was the dialect people spoke.
The other was Hindi, which I knew.
I was often confused.
What should I speak? What should I not?
So before speaking, I started thinking.
I listened more.
I stayed quiet sometimes, just to understand.
Slowly, this became a part of me.
It helped me adjust in different places.
It helped me sit with different people without feeling out of place.
And maybe that’s why I love listening to songs in different languages today.
Because I know what it feels like to be around words… and still find your own voice.
This episode is about that confusion… and how it became my strength.

Patience Has a Voice Too
My father is in the police.
So growing up, waiting was normal for me.
Waiting for him to come home.
Waiting to sit with him. Waiting to talk.
I never questioned it. I knew his duty was important.
From him, I learned patience.
I learned how to understand without saying much.
How to be okay with less time.
How to not always say what I need.
Not because he didn’t love me.
But because this is what his life looks like.
This episode is about that silence I learned.
And how, now, I am slowly learning to express more… without losing that patience he gave me.

Consistency Is My Love Language
My version of love was never a performance check.
It was freedom with intention.
Freedom to be ourselves, while still choosing each other every day.
Because love doesn’t disappear all at once.
It disappears in patterns.
In delayed replies. In changed tones. In fading effort.
This episode is about the kind of love that stays the same.
Not louder. Not bigger. Just true.

The Habit of Saying ‘I’m Fine’
The strong one listens. Supports. Fixes. Holds everyone together.
But strength can be isolating.
This episode is a letter to the strong ones, the ones who never asked for help, not because they didn’t need it, but because they learned not to expect it.

Paper, Memory, and Me
This is not a grand beginning.
Just small memories — letters, report cards, photo albums, family warmth — and the foundation they quietly built inside me.
In this first episode of Letters to Now, I’m sharing the pieces of childhood that still live in me.
