After alcohol ruined his military career and, some years later, his acting career, Dr. Horton tried a 12 steps program through the Veterans Administration that worked for a while. Eventually, he would go back to his addiction; he couldn't figure out what was wrong. One day, Dr. Horton stumbled across someone who introduced him to NLP and hypnosis, and from there, everything made sense for him. Quieting The Monkey Chatter And Listening To Our Intuition's Whisper with Dame Lillian Walker

Since we are little kids, we are taught to ignore our intuition. Parents do that all the time, unknowingly, of course. Every time parents force their kids to sleep when they are not tired or eat, even when they aren't hungry, they are actually teaching those kids to ignore what their body tells them. That creates a disconnection between mind and body; it decreases our intuition's voice volume. In addition, the social construct sees intuition and gut feelings as the exact opposite of what is produced by the brain's left side. Intuitive thinking is often seen as a woo-woo practice, and we use our critical thinking without exception for everything. Today, we have the perfect guest to shed light on the critical vs. intuitive thinking discussion, the "Soul Alchemist," Dame Lillian Walker. She is an international Best-selling Author, Speaker, radio show Producer, and Host of The Bottom Line Show Live™. Dame Lillian is also the Former Director of Mass Media and Marketing Production for the Home & Garden Show and a passionate, creative entrepreneur. She founded and ran the 1st Pacific Mortgage Bank for 20 years. We delve into Dame Lillian's unique journey before and after reconnecting with her center. We went through the health issues she had as a child and during some of her pregnancies, which helped her open her eyes to some fundamental truths. She described what exactly helped her gain clarity, how it was to suddenly start listening to intuition's whispering more clearly, and why the ego gets in the middle of our conversation with our gut feeling. We also talk about tunning in with our inner frequency, our distorted idea of love, the power of manifestation, self-healing, and much more. Some Questions I Ask: I would like you to tell me more about your story, your why? How did you get here? (7:17) In your book, you mention that if you're unsure about a decision, don't take it, just sleep on it. Quiet down and see what comes through. Could you talk a bit about that? (26:36) You talk about divine inspiration, you received downloads one night, and the book was pretty much manifested by the morning. Could you talk about that? (51:50) In This Episode, You Will Learn: About the health challenges, Dame Lillian overcame as a child and how they impacted her life (8:22) Dame Lillian's intuition whisper saved her and her daughter's lives (20:49) Hurry or worry, and the role of the ego in the fear creation (31:29) The stolen phone, and the power of manifestation (39:07) About Dame Lillian's fantastic experience writing her latest book (52:09) Resources: Love & Money Secrets TV YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK2Bq0-l7OQKXPw0l9A5KXQ?view_as=subscriber) Dame Lillian Walker Venmo (https://venmo.com/u/LILLIANWALKERLLC) Book: Dame Lillian Walker - Intuition Manifesto (https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Dame-LILLIAN-WALKER/dp/B09T2XC6J4/ref=sr_1_4?qid=1646703875&refinements=p_27%3ALillian&s=books&sr=1-4): How To Unlock The Gateway To Your Dreams Dame Lillian's Meditation Facebook Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/429678782108983/?ref=share) Connect with Dame Lillian: LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/damelillianwalker/) Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/lillianiwalker/?hl=es) Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/LillianIWalker) Hosted on Acast. Is that right? (6:37) If you were to give somebody a tip, what would be a word that you would recommend to someone who feels a little melancholy? Who doesn't have to pick me up in the morning? Using the Power of Nonverbal Communication To Convert More Clients

When we communicate, words aren't the most important part of our message; they are actually the least influential part of what we say. Humans give and receive unconscious statements that express much more than the words spoken, such as facial expressions, gestures, tone of voice, touch, or eye contact, to name a few. Today, we explore the role of body language in communication, and we learn to use the ability to read unconscious expressions of emotions to convert more clients. We go through the Phineas Gage case, the accident that changed his life, and how it helped scientists understand more about brain functions and human behavior. We also talk about how hard it is to hide our feelings, which is why learning about body language is the closest tool to a lie detector we can acquire. Finally, we talk about happiness, one of the seven human emotions, and we learn to identify and recognize its authentic and sincere demonstrations. Tune in and listen to episode 7 of Rewired Inspired and learn more about everything our bodies say while we speak. In This Episode, You Will Learn: 80% of communication is nonverbal (5:17) Why it is almost impossible to hide our emotions (7:23) About Phineas Gage's accident (8:31) What are microexpressions, and what is their role in nonverbal communication (12:09) How can happiness be easily spotted in someones' facial expressions and body language (13:40) How can we improve our nonverbal communication in virtual and face to face meetings (16:37) Let's Connect: Website (https://elenapetrescu.com/) LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/elena-petrescu/?originalSubdomain=ca) Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Elenapetrescuhypnosis/) Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/elenapetrescuhypnosis/) Hosted on Acast. How To Identify, Starve, and Eliminate Limiting Beliefs and Feed Positivity

During our childhood, when our minds are not fully developed, we can't distinguish between right and wrong, so we accept everything people say to us as truth. For instance, negative remarks will solidify as core beliefs in a child's mind, and they will get in the way of that child's normal development, goal achieving, and personal growth. In this episode, the last of 2021, we talk about our beliefs. We explore and understand how limiting beliefs grow in our minds; we learn to identify them, look for their root cause, and eliminate them. We delve into the power limiting beliefs can have in our lives and the effects of having limiting beliefs transformed into core beliefs. We also go through a step by step of identifying limiting beliefs, the questions that will help us do it, and what we need to do to change or eliminate them. I also share an example of a limiting belief I had for many years, how I identified it and took it out of my system. Tune in and listen to episode 6 of Rewired Inspired and learn about the power and influence negative and positive beliefs can have in our lives. In This Episode, You Will Learn: What is a belief system, and how it can impact our lives (3:05) What happens if a limiting belief is not debunked before the mind is fully developed (4:14) To eliminate limiting beliefs, we must make conscious efforts (5:44) What are the two first steps to eliminate limiting beliefs (8:19) Why it is harder to change or eliminate limiting beliefs as adults (11:07) What are the questions that will help us identify and eliminate limiting beliefs (13:43) Let's Connect: Website (https://elenapetrescu.com/) LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/elena-petrescu/?originalSubdomain=ca) Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Elenapetrescuhypnosis/) Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/elenapetrescuhypnosis/) Hosted on Acast. A Painless, Drugless, and Holistic Approach to Health with Dr. Hilda Maldonado

Identifying symptoms and then matching a diagnosis with prescription medication is how conventional medicine works. In most cases, that kind of approach gives patients their health back. However, treating a symptom without investigating a bit further about its root cause might create even more health issues for a couple of reasons. For instance, as the body is very good at protecting itself, inflammation could respond to a more significant threat. Treating that inflammation ignoring why it's happening, will solve that inflammation momentaneously and aggravate that unknown root cause. After almost losing her health following the steps of conventional medicine, our guest, Dr. Hilda Maldonado, decided to do things differently. She created a holistic approach to restoring people's health without drugs, pain, or invasive procedures, helping thousands of patients feel the aging process has been reversed, experiencing massive energy, focus and vitality for the first time. Dr. Hilda is a Hormone and Metabolic Specialist at Hilda Maldonado Medical; she holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, and she has completed an advanced post-doctorate fellowship in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. In this episode, we had a fantastic conversation about Dr. Hilda's unique approach to overall health and wellness, the Proprietary System. We went through the Five Keys of Activation, which is fundamental to understanding how our body works and what happens when there is an imbalance in our health. We also delve into her personal story, the moment she almost lost her health, and the reasons why she stepped away from traditional medicine's approach. Tune in and listen to episode 5 and have a second opinion on what might be the root cause of certain symptoms and body discomfort. Some Questions I Ask: What inspired you to be a doctor? Why a doctor? Why did you take that route? (3:46) Could you talk to me about your Proprietary System and the Five Keys of Activation? (7:18) Could you share your own story of how you fixed your health and the problems you were facing back then? (36:08) In This Episode, You Will Learn: Why conventional medicine's approach sometimes generates more problems than what it solves (7:31) How Dr. Hilda decided to create her own system after almost 25 years of practicing conventional medicine (11:38) The Five Keys of Activation (15:45) Teaching patients to be independent and make the right choices to stay healthy (42:21) Resources: Dr. Hilda website (http://www.drhildamaldonado.com/index.html) Book: Dr. Hilda Maldonado - The Truth About Thyroid (https://www.drhildamd.com/home33287790) Connect with Dr. Hilda: LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/dr-hilda-maldonado-0689171aa/) Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/DrHildaMDHealthInfo) Let's Connect: Website (https://elenapetrescu.com/) LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/elena-petrescu/?originalSubdomain=ca) Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Elenapetrescuhypnosis/) Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/elenapetrescuhypnosis/) Hosted on Acast. Don Spencer. The World's Fastest Hypnotist

The first experience with hypnotism didn't make much sense for Don Spencer; he was playing with a girlfriend who used to be hypnotized by her father, and what he experienced didn't impress him at all. Several years later, in his third year of undergraduate Psychology, Don attended a public demonstration when it hit him: psychology studies human behavior; hypnotherapy is about altering, changing, and amending behavior. From that day, never stopped researching and learning about hypnosis and hypnotherapy. Why Is It So Hard to Change? A Closer Look at Our Thoughts and Habits

All of us have something we would like to change in our lives; it can be a change of habits like quitting smoking or a massive change in our careers and becoming successful or wealthy. The bad news is there is no magic pill or spells to change overnight; the good news is that any change is achievable if we are willing to do the work. It might not look like it, but that is a big if. Today, we talk about change and why it is so hard to achieve; we explore the essence of transformation and what it requires from us. To understand why it is so hard to modify our lives, we take a closer look at our minds, the unconscious patterns we build every day with our actions, and what we can do to rewire our brains. We also talk about the power of positive affirmations, how to use them to set realistic goals and reach them, and what we can do when negative thoughts invade our minds. Tune in and listen to episode three of Rewired Inspired, and know what is stopping you from achieving what you want and desire. In This Episode, You Will Learn: What do you need to sacrifice to achieve your goals (2:21) Why changing is so hard for some people (3:37) What happens in our minds every time we think about past or future negative experiences (5:01) What is RAS, Reticular Activating System, and how can we put it to work in our favor (7:21) What is the main obstacle between us and the success we want to achieve (11:43) What is the best way to deal with negative thoughts (13:34) Let's Connect: Website (https://elenapetrescu.com/) LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/elena-petrescu/?originalSubdomain=ca) Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Elenapetrescuhypnosis/) Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/elenapetrescuhypnosis/) Hosted on Acast. Learning About the Best-kept Secret in PR with Tom Martin

If we were interested in exploring storytelling origins, we would probably have to travel back in time enough to find ourselves among cavemen. Telling stories is a fundamental part of being human; it helps us understand each other, it helps us understand information and make it memorable. And it goes beyond that; storytelling is essential to understand other people's experiences, generating an emotional connection. My first guest to the show, Tom Martin, certainly mastered the art of storytelling, and he used his gift to help hundreds of talented people tell their stories. Tom has over 20 years of experience working with national news organizations like CBS News, ABC News, and CNN, followed by 10 years of experience managing PR campaigns for Fortune 100 companies. In his role as a news producer, Tom produced stories for Diane Sawyer, Charles Gibson, Charlie Rose, and Charles Kuralt. As a PR specialist, his list of clients goes from authors and musicians to public speakers and restaurant owners. He conducted media training and coaching with the philanthropist investor George Soros or Vicki Escarra, CEO of Feeding America. His clients have been featured in Good Morning America and Oprah, as well as many radio shows. In this episode, we go through Tom's journey of becoming a journalist, a PR specialist, and a master storyteller. He kindly shared his experiences working with celebrities like Paul McCartney, Steven Spielberg, and Tony Robbins, and we talked about his passion for connecting people using stories as a bridge. We also talk about legacy, the polarity the world is immersed in, the challenging times kids are going through right now, and much more. Some Questions I Ask: I want you to talk about who inspired you and why did you choose Public Relations? (5:34) You have the gift of storytelling. Could you share a bit about that? (7:46) What did you take away from working with Paul McCartney, Steven Spielberg, and Tony Robbins? (13:56) What's your passion moving forward? What are the passions you are looking to fulfill? (19:13) In This Episode, You Will Learn: The reasons behind Tom's passion for journalism (6:52) How can we change the world through stories (9:59) Nothing happens overnight. A Life of Pressing the Gas and the Break at the Same Time

Being in the moment is thinking and feeling the same thing simultaneously. This is a statement that sounds both simple and extremely hard to achieve at the same time. However, it is possible to train our minds and bodies to work together to the point we no longer have to think about it; we can learn to create patterns in our mind through repetition and frequency. Today, we start our journey towards evolution, replacing unproductive habits with productive ones, changing unwanted behavior, boosting our confidence, and having more fulfilling lives and careers. We will go through my life story, how I survived an alcoholic and abusive father, my interest in understanding how the human mind works, and how I've learned to rewire my brain through hypnosis and spending thousands of dollars in self-development. If we think of our minds like a computer, we are the programmers. We decide what kind of software to install, what programs to run; the decision of being positive and uplifting is entirely ours.
