[…] And question three. We tend to see secondary Raynaud's occur after what age? Thirty. Clinical presentation. Raynaud's causes episodic changes in the color of the fingers. We call these quote-unquote attacks, so Raynaud's attacks. Now the fingers are the most commonly involved areas, but other parts of the body can be affected too, including the toes in about two-thirds of patients, but also the nose, the ears, the lips, and even rarely the nipples. Usually attacks are triggered by cold and emotional stressors. So cold and emotional stressors cause the color changes, these attacks affecting the fingers, the toes, also the nose, ears, lips, and nipples. […]
