Hosted by well-known Albury-Wodonga sports media personality Robbie Mackinlay, Riding with Robbie takes listeners along for the ride as Robbie picks up a local elder and explores their life stories, memories, and experiences.
It’s like carpool karaoke, minus the singing, with plenty of laughs, insights, and heartfelt moments along the way. Proudly supported by Kirinari Albury-Wodonga.
In this episode we speak with Adam Smith who became blind following an accident when he attempted to take his own life after a party of booze and drugs – he had been suffering depression in silence, and it all came to a head one night in 2004. His recovery was made through resilience, family support and his friends who stood by him to now live an amazing life that has him married, working and in a much better place.
