Il 10 marzo 2020, per la prima volta dalla diffusione della pandemia di coronavirus, il presidente Xi Jinping mette piede a Wuhan: è il segno che la situazione non è più pericoloso, o almeno così sembra. La visita del presidente, che in piena emergenza aveva mandato il premier Li Keqiang, è un messaggio per i cinesi, ma soprattutto per le Borse e per i partner mondiali: passata l'emergenza e apparentemente sconfitto il "virus demone" grazie a una "guerra di popolo", la Cina è pronta a ripartire. Ha bisogno di farlo, perché, a causa del coronavirus, nel 2020 raggiungerà probabilmente solo il 4-5% di crescita, secondo le stime più ottimistiche, e molto dipenderà da come la pandemia si svilupperà in Europa e negli Stati Uniti. Per questo motivo, Pechino ha lanciato un nuovo slogan: dopo la Nuova Via della Seta, è il momento della Nuova Via della Seta sanitaria. In questo episodio vi spiegheremo perché questo progetto riguarda direttamente l'Italia e quali conseguenze potrà avere sui rapporti con il principale partner (e concorrente) mondiale: gli Stati Uniti.
