Demystifying how to have a successful business in the coaching industry

This one's a little spicier than usual. We see it all the time on Instagram: the overnight wins, the "I made six figures in one launch" posts, the people who make it look effortless. And that's not always fake. But what we don't see is the years of consistency behind it. In this episode, I share about what I’ve seen BTS as a co-coach and as someone who’s been in the coaching industry for 4+ years around what it actually takes to be successful. I'm also sharing the story of my first launch post-grad, where I made $16,500 in ELS sales the month after a lull…not because I felt 100% every day, but because I showed up anyway. If you've ever felt like you're doing it wrong because your business isn't blowing up as fast as you expected it to, this episode is for you. What You'll Learn In This Episode: The difference between "posting and ghosting" and actually building momentum A real debrief of my Somatic Sales Lab launch: the slow start and what turned it around How to build a business that honors the seasons of your life while still being consistent Creating inevitable results….even while feeling like “is this even working!?” Resources + Links: Somatic Sales Lab is where I teach how to sell in a way that's consistent, embodied, and actually converts. the #1 shift i made to fill up my high-ticket offers

If sales feel icky to you, I want you to know that's not because you're bad at sales. It's because you were probably taught the wrong version of it. Get them on a call. Listen to their pain. Sell them the transformation. Create urgency so they buy now. That's the model most of us were handed. And honestly? It works for some people — the ones running high-volume, low-integrity, churn-and-burn businesses. But if you're a healer, a coach, a therapist, a spiritual entrepreneur… that model was never going to feel like you. And chances are, it's not actually converting the way you were told it would either. In this episode, I'm breaking down what selling actually looks like when it's rooted in your body, your integrity, and real relationship — not pressure, not scarcity, not a script. I'm sharing a real example of a sales call where I told a potential client not to invest with me the "easy" way, and how that honesty is exactly what built the kind of trust that grows a business people actually want to stay in. Because the truth is, the majority of my high-ticket sales don't come from cold pitches. They come from relationships I've nurtured over months, sometimes years. And that's the whole model I teach inside Somatic Sales Lab. What You'll Learn In This Episode: Why traditional sales scripts don't work for premium buyers anymore How to hold space for a client's fear without pressuring them into a decision Why relationship-based sales create better retention and fewer refunds How to know when to get on a call, DM, or sell straight from your content Resources + Links: Enroll in Somatic Sales Lab (https://mandy.radiatesunshinewellness.com/somatic-sales-lab-lp): My 8-week group coaching program teaching you how to sell in a way that's embodied, transparent, and rooted in relationship — not pressure, scripts, or scarcity. 💌 DM me on Instagram @radiatesunshineyoga (https://www.instagram.com/radiatesunshineyoga) with your biggest takeaway from this episode or to connect!

How I Sell High-Ticket Offers Without the Pressure

Have you ever gotten off a sales call and felt kind of… icky? Like you followed all the "right" steps, said all the "right" things, but something about it just didn't feel like you? You're not alone. So much of what we've been taught about sales was built for churn-and-burn business models — scarcity tactics, urgency, pressure, hiding your prices until someone's trapped on a call with you. And if you're a therapist, coach, healer, or spiritual entrepreneur, that model probably makes your skin crawl a little. Because you didn't get into this work to manipulate people. You got into it to serve them. In this episode, I'm breaking down what embodied sales actually look like — how to sell in a way that keeps you connected to your body, honors the other person's autonomy, and still closes the sale. I'm sharing real client stories, what shifted for me after years of inconsistent revenue, and why the sales tactics that "work" for bro marketers actually destroy trust, retention, and your reputation in the long run. This isn't about having the perfect script. It's about learning how to hold space, stay regulated, and let your sales process be an extension of the same care you already bring to your clients. What You'll Learn In This Episode: Why traditional sales tactics (urgency, scarcity, hiding your prices) break trust instead of building it What it actually means to sell from a regulated, embodied place instead of a script How to hold space for a client's fear around investing without being pushy Why relationship-based selling leads to higher retention and way less refund drama How to know when to get someone on a call vs. close in the DMs vs. pitch in your content Resources + Links: Join my FREE live training: Somatic Sales Foundations (https://mandy.radiatesunshinewellness.com/somatic-sales) happening August 19th, 3:00–4:30 PM ET Have questions or reflections on this episode?
