It’s Not What You Think — Scorpio Full Moon & The Art of Feeling It All
Let’s get real. This Scorpio Full Moon isn’t about chasing good vibes only—it’s about rolling up your emotional sleeves and actually being with what’s there. The grief, the shame, the resistance, the part of you that still thinks holding it all together is noble. (Spoiler: It’s not. It’s exhausting.)
In this post, I’m not just talking moon magic—I’m taking you behind the scenes. Into the moments where I cracked open. Like that school conference where I was the only single mom in the room. Holding back tears, playing the polished part, until I got home and collapsed into the grass. Or the sound healing retreat over Mother’s Day weekend—where receiving was the hardest part. Sound familiar?
This Full Moon in Scorpio is about surrender, not control. And yes, that’s terrifying for some of us (hi, fellow earth signs). But it’s also where the gold is.

What We’re Working With: Scorpio Moon Energy
Scorpio is deep. It’s the soul surgeon of the zodiac. This moon is here to dig into the emotional compost pile you’ve been avoiding. The stuff you’ve tucked away neatly in the drawer labeled “Not Right Now.” Yeah, that drawer is bursting.
This moon wants to know:
• What emotional truth have you been afraid to feel or speak?
• Where are you still trying to polish your pain so it looks good on the outside?
• What would happen if you stopped fixing and started feeling?
⸻
The 3 Keys to Work With This Moon
1. Emotional Stability
Not the kind that looks good on Instagram—the kind that comes from giving yourself space to fall apart and not make that wrong.
2. Sensory Abundance
We regulate through the body. What smells ground you? What textures soothe you? What sounds call you home? (I personally vote for clean dishes and Bach.)
3. Zodiac-Based Emotional Regulation
Each element has its own medicine. Let it work for you:
• Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces): Let the tears flow. Don’t apologize.
• Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): Routines = roots. Start with your dishwasher, seriously.
• Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): Move it out. Shake, dance, burn the to-do list.
• Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): Write it down. Speak it aloud. Connect with someone who gets it.

Journal Prompts for Your Moon Ritual
• What part of me is still trying to hold it all together?
• Where have I been silencing my emotional truth out of fear of judgment?
• What sensory practices help me return to emotional safety?
• Which of my elemental traits do I suppress, and how could I use them for emotional regulation?
• What would it look like to lead myself with compassion, even under pressure?
⸻
A Practice from My Daily Life (Yes, Including the Dishwasher)
This is what emotional regulation looks like for me, Capricorn style: a clean start. I unload the dishwasher every morning. Not because it’s “productive”—because it clears my head. It’s a pause. A moment to breathe and check in. Authority doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes it’s in the clink of a plate hitting the rack.
⸻
The Bottom Line
The Scorpio Full Moon isn’t asking you to be perfect. It’s asking you to be present. With yourself. With your feelings. With the parts of you that still believe being “put together” is the goal.
It’s not about fixing—it’s about feeling.
Let that be enough.
