All for Jesus: A Life of Generosity | Pastor Drew East | Rise Up Culture Church

All for Jesus: A Life of Generosity | Pastor Drew East | Rise Up Culture Church When a church talks about money, the whole room can tense up. This week Pastor Drew shares his honest journey into God's heart for giving and what the Bible really says about tithing and generosity. The answer is simpler and more freeing than a rule: give Jesus your whole life, and let Him lead you in what to give and who to give to. — 📖 IN THIS EPISODE Drew walks through giving from the Old Testament to the New, from Abel's firstfruits and Abraham's tenth to Paul's teaching on intentional, Spirit-led generosity. He shares where he has landed on tithing, where he is still holding things with open hands, and the simple stance Rise Up takes. Then he unpacks the principle of seed and bread from 2 Corinthians 9:10, and how receiving God's love again and again is what makes generosity overflow. — 🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS • Our lives belong to Jesus, so our finances do too. Generosity starts with surrender, not a percentage. • Give what Jesus leads you to give. Sometimes that's more than our logic expects, and sometimes it's less. • Give to who Jesus leads you to give to. The early church gave to ministers, missionaries, and the poor. • Giving is never meant to crush you. God's heart is generosity without pressure, manipulation, or shame. • Ask Him what is seed and what is bread. Some of what God gives provides for your household, and some is meant to be sown. — 📜 SCRIPTURE REFERENCED Genesis 4:3-4 Genesis 14:18-20 Genesis 28:20-22 Hebrews 7 2 Corinthians 8:5 Matthew 6:19-21 Matthew 23:23 Matthew 6:33 1 John 3:16-18 1 Corinthians 16:2 2 Corinthians 8:13-14 2 Corinthians 9:10 — 💛 ONE LINE TO HOLD ONTO "Give Jesus your whole life, and He will lead you in what to do with your money." — 🏡 TAKE IT TO YOUR FAMILY This week, pray together and ask Jesus who He wants your family to bless. Let your kids help choose the person and how you give, whether it's time, a meal, a note, or a few dollars. Then memorize Matthew 6:21 together: "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Freedom From Fear | Lymaris Lovelord | Rise Up Culture Church

Freedom From Fear | Lymaris LovelordHow do I squash my fears and embrace what God has made me for? This week our NextGen Director, Lymaris Lovelord, shows us that God's answer to fear has always been His presence. Our safety was never meant to be our circumstances, our control, or even our calling. Our safety is Jesus.📖 IN THIS EPISODEWe unpack why fear gets so loud when we stop feeling safe, and how God answers it again and again with "I am with you." Through the stories of David, Peter, and the race set before us, we learn how to stop chasing the calling and start following Jesus into everything He made us for.—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS- Fear gains power when we no longer feel safe. God's answer to fear is His presence: "I am with you."- Our safety is Jesus. Not circumstances, control, opportunities, promises, or even our calling itself.- God made you on purpose. You are His workmanship, created for good works He prepared ahead of time. Then you have to go.- Trust the One who called you. Like David in the cave, we don't force the promise. We trust God to fulfill it.- Keep your eyes on Jesus. Like Peter, we step out when Jesus says "Come" and look to Him, not the wind and waves.- Pursue Jesus, not the calling. As we follow Him, He leads us into everything He created us for.—📜 SCRIPTURE REFERENCEDIsaiah 41:10Joshua 1:1-9Psalm 23:4Psalm 56:1-41 Samuel 16:1-131 Samuel 24:1-7Ephesians 2:8-10Hebrews 12:1-2Matthew 14:22-33Hebrews 13:8Matthew 28:20Revelation 22:13—💛 ONE LINE TO HOLD ONTO"Our safety is Jesus. Freedom from Bloodline Curses | Pastor Drew East | Rise Up Culture Church

Freedom from Bloodline Curses | Jesus Breaks What Bound UsHave you ever prayed about something, felt free for a moment, and then found yourself right back in the same fight? Some battles did not start with you. This week we open the Scriptures to see how heaven's courtroom works, why the accuser does not get the final word, and how Jesus, our Advocate, breaks what bound our families and leads us into freedom.📖 IN THIS EPISODEGod is calling us into great things, and the enemy works to put obstacles in our way. Some things break with simple prayer, but some keep coming back, often through our family line. We walk through Galatians 5:1, Daniel 7, Zechariah 3, Revelation 12, 1 John 2, and Hebrews 4:16 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_HSLh79CK8&t=256s), then share eight practical steps to respond in the courtroom of heaven with Jesus by your side.—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS• Jesus did not set you free so you could live bound. Galatians 5:1 calls us to stand firm in the freedom Christ already won.• Heaven has a courtroom, and God is Judge. Daniel 7:9-10 shows the court seated and the books opened.• God does not leave His people in accusation. In Zechariah 3, He rebukes the accuser and trades filthy garments for clean ones.• The accuser speaks, but the blood of Jesus speaks louder. Revelation 12:10 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_HSLh79CK8&t=730s)-11 says he is conquered by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.• Jesus is your Advocate. 1 John 2:1-2 and Hebrews 4:16 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_HSLh79CK8&t=256s) invite us to come boldly to the throne of grace, not as defendants, but as sons and daughters.HOW TO RESPOND IN THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN• Meet with Jesus first• Ask, "Lord, what is the accusation?"• Discern what is true• Repent where needed• Apply the blood of Jesus• Break unhealthy bloodline ties and curses• Receive what Jesus gives in exchange• Follow the Holy Spirit—📜 SCRIPTURE REFERENCEDGalatians 5:1Daniel 7:9-10Zechariah 3:1-5Revelation 12:10 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_HSLh79CK8&t=730s)-111 John 2:1-2Hebrews 4:16 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_HSLh79CK8&t=256s)—💛 ONE LINE TO HOLD ONTO"The accuser speaks, but the blood of Jesus speaks louder."—🏡 TAKE IT TO YOUR FAMILYRead the full blog for a kid-friendly translation, dinner table prompts, and this week's family challenge:https://www.theriseupculture.com/blog (https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUZZTVljRTZBc3hTam82T0dWQkdudktXVEVIY3xBTl9pYzRmN3Q1N3BoUFVYOGx5Q0RaQ2h5alA2b0Ntb2U2a2l6c3FUWDBvN2JtRTJCV3dWem1Ib1BxR3d1U2Qwa3N4VnZqOHpCQk5uTS1mX1VCMXc4Mm5IS3NRSWpHTjl6SFot&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theriseupculture.com%2Fblog&v=Y_HSLh79CK8)—🌱 WANT TO GO DEEPERGroup Freedom Session: Healing from Bloodline Curses (Oct 15, live on Zoom)https://rise-up-culture.churchcenter....
