What Do We Do With Unanswered Prayers? | Danny Robertson | October 25, 2026

What do we do with unanswered prayers? If you have ever asked, "Why isn't God answering my prayers?" or wondered why God delays answering prayer, this sermon is for you. Preaching from Isaiah 40.28-31, Danny Robertson explains what it means to wait on the Lord, what hope means in the Bible, and how to stop focusing on unanswered prayer. He shows that prayer and relationship go together: we bring our requests to a loving Father who delights in His children, not the head of an orphanage. Danny walks through Jacob's ladder in Genesis 28.12, Proverbs 13.12 ("hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life"), and John 16.23-24, where Jesus tells us to pray in His name so that our joy will be complete. He also looks at the Lord's Prayer ("Your kingdom come") and at Psalm 103, "forget not all His benefits." In Isaiah 40.31, the words for hope, expect, look for, and wait on the Lord carry the picture of binding yourself to God like strands of a rope. That is how to renew your strength in the Lord, soar on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, and walk and not faint. Sermon: Expect, Look, Hope, Wait Date: October 25, 2026

Building To Last The Long Haul (Luke 6:47-48) | Angie Robertson | October 18, 2026

Luke 6:47-48 (NASB) - Everyone who comes to Me, and hears My words, and acts upon them, I will show you whom he is like:  he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood rose, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. How do you build a family, a ministry, and a life that lasts for generations? In this sermon, Angie Robertson starts in Luke 6:47-48 with Jesus' picture of a house built on the rock, then goes to Genesis 1:1-2 to look at how God builds: imagining the blueprint in His heart, speaking, bringing order from chaos, and resting in what He made. This message shows that the same Holy Spirit Who hovered over the formless, empty deep hovers over your home with tender affection, and that Jesus sends the Helper to bring order from disorder, purpose from chaos, and beauty from ashes. Filled With Joy (Acts 16) | Danny Robertson | October 11, 2026

Acts 16.34 (NIV): "The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole household." WE ALL NEED MORE JOY! In "Filled With the Joy of Salvation," Danny Robertson walks through Acts 16: Paul and Silas beaten and locked in the inner cell, singing at midnight, and a Roman jailer who asks, "What must I do to be saved?" By morning he and his whole household are baptized, fed at a banquet, and filled with joy. Danny connects the jailer's joy to Jesus's own joy in Luke 10 and Hebrews 12.2, "for the joy set before him," and asks whether we've lost our first love (Revelation 2.4). If you're searching for the joy of salvation, how to regain your joy, the story of Paul and Silas in prison, the Philippian jailer, what it means to believe in the Lord Jesus, or why joy fades after you first meet God, this Bible study on Acts 16 is for you.
