Rooted In Rescue
In this message from the new series Rooted, we explore the foundational truth that grace must always precede growth.
Drawing from the book of Colossians, this teaching highlights why building a deep faith in a shallow world relies on understanding our identity in Christ rather than focusing on our own performance.
Key takeaways include:
Grace before Growth: Why trying to change your behavior without first resting in God’s grace is unsustainable (9:03 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=543s)).
Identity over Activity: Understanding holiness as a status given by God, not an activity to perform (14:14 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=854s)).
Distinguishing Falls from Fails: How to handle mistakes and the importance of getting back up when you stumble (22:20 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=1340s)).
The True Gospel: A reminder of God’s completed work on the cross, shifting the focus from our own efforts to the inheritance we have in the kingdom of light (31:02 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=1862s)).
This episode encourages listeners to stop trying to earn their salvation and instead live out of the freedom that comes from being securely rooted in the rescue of the gospel.

GET MOVING
Trapped between an army and the sea, with nowhere left to run, God gave Israel a surprising command: get moving. In this message from Exodus 14, we look at what it means to step forward in faith before the path is clear, and why waiting for perfect clarity can sometimes become its own form of disobedience.
When we can’t see God leading in front of us, it’s easy to assume He’s absent. But the same God who parted the sea also moved the pillar of cloud behind His people to guard them. He’s often working where we aren’t looking. And He isn’t interested in simply helping us manage what holds us captive. He wants to defeat it for good.
If God has placed something on your heart and the math doesn’t add up, this is your invitation to set aside a pre-packed faith and take the next step.
