Munaf Manji and Sleepy J take over the Week 9 edition of the RJ Bell Dream Preview with RJ Bell out, and they arrive at the halfway point of the NFL season with a contrarian card built for what Sleepy J calls a bookies weekend, a stretch when the books shade lines toward favorites and overs because that is where the public money goes. At 1:10, Sleepy J shares the Pregame.com offer where 20 gets you 100 in bulk dollars, spotlights Munaf at plus 24.03 units on the NFL, and plugs the free Beat Greg Shaker college basketball contest. At 5:11, Sleepy J opens the three weights with Washington plus 4.5 against the Rams, questioning who the Rams have really beaten and noting a West Coast team traveling east without Davante Adams or Myles Garrett. At 8:47, Munaf adds the over in the same game, backed by a Commanders home underdog trend that is a perfect 7 and 0 to the over since 2024 with games averaging close to 58 points, and he projects a 27 to 24 Washington win. At 15:33, Sleepy J makes the Bears minus 6 his two weight on Sunday Night Football, pointing to 34 points in Seattle, the addition of Jeffery Simmons, and a Tampa Bay offense that has handed the ball to its backs 97 times in two games while Baker Mayfield nurses his thumb. At 39:45, Dave Essler joins with the Vikings plus 3.5, noting the Bills allow more than 30 points per game on the road and that Minnesota has not allowed more than 19 since Week 1. At 42:08, Munaf, a Texans fan, backs the winless Chargers plus 6 against Houston, which sparks a debate at 44:56 over whether the Chargers have hit their Dream Crusher scenario and a Texans second half lean from Sleepy J. At 50:56, Munaf runs through a wild week of quarterback news including Joe Milton in Philadelphia, Jacoby Brissett heading to Baltimore, Gardner Minshew in Arizona and Shedeur Sanders in Cleveland. At 52:42, the hosts review DraftKings Super Bowl odds led by the 49ers, Bills and Bears, name the Giants and Browns as pretenders, and Sleepy J warns against selling Patriots stock at 19 to 1. At 58:33, they discuss Jonathan Taylor landing spots and how to beat the futures move, before closing with Ashton Jeanty over 28.5 rushing yards after Rex Ryan called him the worst draft pick in 20 years.
