24 - Roasting Coffee in a Small Town
In small town areas, you can really get to know those around you, but you are also vulnerable to word traveling fast. If you're a coffee roaster or running a small business, that can be an extremely hard place to be as you try to provide a product to people in the area. If you try to provide a product that doesn't appeal to the mass population within that small area, this can be extremely detrimental. As a roaster, it can be hard not to worry too much about what people think of your coffee. You're in an extremely vulnerable position at times.
I hope you enjoy this episode where I talk about some tough vulnerabilities of wanting people to enjoy your coffee the way you roast it, while also having to know not everyone likes everything. You also have to do what you love, and what you like, because somebody will probably like it.

This coffee has one of the longest titles in history haha, but the flavor makes up for it. This is a great coffee I recently got from Luminous Coffee. If you haven't checked them out, you definitely need to. They typically offer a lot of heavy experimentally processed coffee, but they seem to be well done. I've only had a couple and tried to stay away from anything too crazy, but the couple I've had have been really great.
