I'm back - and I'm bringing you inside the identity shift that took me from Los Angeles to Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.</p><p>This episode isn't a highlight reel. It's the real timeline - the good girl choices, the slow wake-up call, and the audacious move that finally matched who I was becoming.</p><p>I take you back to 2014, when I moved back to LA and manifested what I thought was my dream job - a flexible role as an insurance investigator. That job funded this business and shaped a decade of my life. But by 2020, everything cracked open. The pandemic pushed me remote, then part-time, then into independent contractor work - until July 2025, when I finally walked away from corporate for good.</p><p>Somewhere in there, I named the feeling I couldn't shake: I wasn't living. I was working to exist.</p><p>That's when I found a move-abroad seminar and a community that gave me permission to stop shrinking - and started the process that led me to Ensenada in late October 2025. I'm not going to pretend it was clean.
