Launchpad Reseller Podcast | Season 2, Episode 18 | Paws to Flip
Can reselling really go from a little extra money to replacing TWO full-time careers in less than a year?
๐ On Season 2, Episode 18 of the Launchpad Reseller Podcast, we sat down with Lisa & Zack of Paws to Flip, a husband-and-wife reseller team from Wisconsin whose side hustle quickly snowballed into a full-time business for both of them.
Lisa started reselling in September 2025 while working as a teacher. Just a few months later, she left teaching and went all-in on reselling. Zack continued working his full-time job until June, when he made the jump too.
Both became full-time resellers, building a growing Whatnot business along the way!
๐ฅ 4.5K+ items soldโญ 5.0 seller rating๐ฆ Less than 1-day average shipping๐ฅ 1.8K+ Whatnot followers
Their primary focus was baby and toddler clothing, much of it sourced through liquidation, with surprises like Hallmark ornaments mixed in along the way.
And the name Paws to Flip?
That came from the real bosses of the operation: their four dogs and one cat. ๐ถ๐ฑ
๐ IN THIS EPISODE
We talked about:
โ Going from side hustle to TWO full-time resellers in under a yearโ Why Lisa decided to leave teaching for resellingโ How Zack knew it was time to make the jumpโ Building a business together as husband and wifeโ Why they started taking Whatnot seriouslyโ Growing to more than 4,500 Whatnot salesโ Selling baby and toddler clothing through live auctionsโ Using liquidation to source inventory at scaleโ Whatnot vs. traditional buy-it-now marketplacesโ Why they saved thrift and garage-sale finds for other platformsโ Managing inventory, shipping, and live showsโ The freedom reselling created for their familyโ Lessons learned during their first year in businessโ What's next for Paws to Flip
Their story wasn't about building a business overnight. It was about recognizing when a side hustle was gaining momentum and being willing to change the plan when the opportunity became bigger than the original goal.
A HUGE thank you to Lisa & Zack for joining us, sharing their journey, and giving our community an inside look at what it took to turn a side hustle into two full-time careers!
