Dr. David Pearson - Medical Physics, Medical School Admissions, and Radiation Therapy as an Undergraduate Degree
Dr. David Pearson is a Board Certified Medical Physicist serving as a professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology and as the Associate Dean for Admissions & Strategic Enrollment in the College of Medicine and Life Sciences at the University of Toledo. In this episode, Dr. Pearson provided a comprehensive overview of medical physics as a career pathway and discussed the intricacies of medical school admission committees.

Faith Zhang - From BACC2MD to Medical School
I was very fortunate to be joined by Faith Zhang, who at the time of recording was preparing for matriculation into her M1 year at The University of Toledo College of Medicine. Faith had been accepted to the UTCOMLS MD program via the BACC2MD pathway, an early interview and application trajectory. Today, Faith is continuing at UTCOMLS as an M2. If interested in the BACC2MD program, please visit the webpage below for current and up to date information regarding the pathway. Additionally, a link for the webpage regarding the Medstart program is below as well. The Medstart program is another early interview and application pathway offered by The University of Toledo College of Medicine, however, Medstart is offered to undergraduate students at any accredited U.S. college or university.

Dr. James Kleshinski - Internal Medicine and Beyond
Dr. James Kleshinski is a Professor and the Vice-Chair of Education for the Department of Medicine at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences (UTCOMLS). Additionally, Dr. Kleshinski serves as the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education and is a board certified internal medicine physician. In this episode, Dr. Kleshinski not only discussed his pathway to becoming a physician, but also the challenges emerging in the contemporary medical field.
