Roheline linn algab läbimõeldud planeerimisest
Linnad on kõige suuremad planeedi reostajad, tervelt 70% kogu maailma heidetest on pärit just nimelt linnadest. Suurel hulgal koos elavad inimesed tarbivad, kulutavad ja reostavad taktitundetult, sest enamiku linnade puhul ei saa rääkida läbimõeldud planeerimisest, mis võtaks arvesse erinevaid sellise eksistentsi kitsaskohti. Kuid on olemas ka teistsuguseid näiteid, kus terve asum hingab ja mõtleb roheliselt. Kolm suurt Eesti ettevõtet – Ragn-Sells, Tallinna Sadam ja Utilitas – on osa neist, kes on pannud seljad kokku ning võtnud rohepöörde oma südameasjaks. Need ettevõtted leiavad, et rohepööre on Eesti majandusele ja ühiskonnale suur võimalus ning tegemist on Eesti konkurentsivõime küsimusega.
