a creative's journey with self sabotage & self doubt
At the top of the year, I had this insane creative rut where I completely doubted any and all of my creative gifts and abilities. It was less of a rut that felt like I had no ideas left to share, and more of a rut that lead to inaction, not putting myself out there and ultimately self-sabotaging my creative journey. low maintenance friendships are not the answer
I saw a stream of TikToks a few months ago where there seemed to be this idea that the best kind of friendships are the ones that take the least amount of "effort" (the effort being...catching up and investing in your friends' lives).
