We're back to our regular programming on Rooted and Raw, and we're diving into a question that invites us to pause, reflect, and get honest with ourselves and God: What is God inviting me to release so I can walk freely into the season He's calling me to?
Sometimes stepping into a new season isn't just about what we need to do or where God is leading us. It's also about what we need to let go of. Old mindsets, fear, control, past disappointments, unhealthy patterns, expectations, or even versions of ourselves we've outgrown can become things we carry long after God has invited us to lay them down.
In this episode, we have an honest conversation about surrender, obedience, and the difficulty of releasing what feels familiar—even when it's no longer serving the season we're in. We explore how to recognize what may be holding us back, how to trust God when letting go feels uncomfortable, and what it looks like to make room for the things He's calling us toward.
Because sometimes the next step isn't about doing more, trying harder, or holding on tighter. Sometimes it's about trusting God enough to open our hands and let go.
