Daniel: The God Who Is With Us in the Storm (Daniel 6) | Nathan Goble

Daniel has remained faithful through at least 3 kings and 2 kingdoms, and yet he still finds himself targeted, threatened, and powerless. What if God is not trying to make our lives so easy so that we can follow him, but rather to help us know him so well that we'll be able to follow him no matter what happens? Daniel remains faithful and discovers that God has a plan for his difficult circumstances.

Daniel: Hope in Exile (Daniel 4 & 5) | Nathan Goble

Despite living in a godless land, being treated unfairly, and serving a pagan king who defies the one true God, Daniel continues to represent the kingdom of God in wicked Babylon. As a result of Daniel's faithfulness, when God moves to rebuke two wicked kings, Daniel is positioned to partner with the Lord to see the change he has prayed for. The exhortation for us today is to remain faithful and reflect the kingdom of God in our wicked land.

Daniel: Faith That Works Under Pressure (Daniel 3) | Nathan Goble

How does God show up when the fire is turned up on His faithful servants? Jesus shows up as the fourth man in the fire, which encourages all Jesus-followers to trust him even when people turn against them and be obedient even when circumstances don't go their way. The outcome in this unusual story is that the hotter the fire burns for Jesus followers, the brighter their light shines for all the world to see.
