We interview academic physicians with one goal in mind: How can medical students not only be ready for their first day in your clinic or on your service, but how can we stand out and make a lasting impression? She completed a 1-year fellowship in laryngology for specific training in the management of complex voice, airway, and swallowing disorders at the University of Michigan. She has a strong interest in women physicians initiatives and medical education and will serve as the assistant program director for the ENT residency at UVA next year. She is a passionate educator as you will hear in the episode.
