This week I'm joined by the trailblazer that is Emma Manzelmann. After playing her early days around Mackay, she begun her NRLW career with the Newcastle Knights winning the premiership on 2022, which lead her to be the first signing at the Nth Queensland Cowboys in 2023 taking on a role as co-captain, and now captain. She's played for the QLD Maroons, the Prime Ministers XIII and the Jillaroos - ticking serious achievements off before she's even made it to 25.
2026 saw a season ending injury come her way so what does life look life for Emma off the field? And what is the driving force behind her succes thus far? We chat all about it.

WALTA: Can women really have it all?
Hey there drafters
This week’s guest is singer songwriter & generally super woman - WALTA !! I know her as Chloe Minogue, my old nail tech, but nowadays she’s stepped into her full power as the artist WALTA & mum to a new baby girl - her first EP Age Related Pressure dropped in 2023 & it’s so accurate to some of the experiences she’s gone through in the music industry, which I think we all can relate to regardless of what we do for work. It’s that feeling like you need to keep up so you don’t fall behind.

Let's Talk: My mother raised me with an eating disorder
Hey there Drafters!
This week I'm doing something I genuinely didn't think would happen for a long time.
With images of Ariana Grande flooding our screens and the conversation around hers and other women's bodies becoming an echo chamber, I wanted to raise a conversation that I've never spoken about before... being raised by a mother with an eating disorder.
Here's the bit I didn't expect, I'm talking about it with my mum, Jayme, herself.
Please be kind & open to her experience, also my reactions. It certainly isn't an easy topic but we shared this with you with truth and authenticity. In this conversation we spoke about a number of things we've never put into words with eachother.

SOLO Ep: Get comfortable being uncomfortable
I had so much feedback in the past few weeks that you guys want to hear some more solo episodes so you're in luck! Thats exactly what I'm deliverying for you.
It's LEO SZN and this lioness will be celebrating 31 on Wednesday August 5th.. Birthdays always feel like a big milestone to me, more so than holidays or new year.
Its basically your personal new year if you believe in the 'woo woo' kind of things - which I do. So when they come up it always dreggs up some thoughts and feels.
That's enough from me here - let's talk getting comfotable when life is feeling uncomfortable for all the right reasons.

GTKM: Who Does She Think She Is? is basically me attempting to explain myself before the official launch of Rough Draft on June 1.
This is a chaotic little get to know me episode where I talk through 20 things that pretty much sum up who I am - from growing up country and accidentally ending up in radio, to being emotionally self-aware one minute and absolutely delusional the next.
We get into ambition, relationships, overthinking, humour as a coping mechanism, why I romanticise literally everything and why this podcast even exists in the first place.
