E45 What Will You Do With What God Has Revealed? | RESPOND Your Daily Plumbline Day 6 M3 |

God has brought your motives into the light. Now comes the question that determines whether revelation becomes transformation: What will you do with what He has shown you? Welcome to E45, Day 6 - RESPOND of Your Daily Plumbline, Module 3: Biblical Worldview & Spirit-Formed Discernment, with Rev. Anthony Morphis of Ruach School of Ministry. Today's focus is What Will You Do With What God Has Revealed? - Motives Under the Light. Throughout this week, we have allowed Scripture to challenge our thinking, expose our motives, examine our perspectives, and confront the influences shaping our decisions. We have considered how fear can disguise itself as wisdom, how pride can distort discernment, and how personal ambition can influence what we believe God is leading us to do. But today is not simply about recognizing those things. Today is about responding to the truth. There is a difference between being convicted and being changed. We can acknowledge what God reveals without surrendering it. We can recognize unhealthy motives without allowing the Holy Spirit to transform them. But Spirit-formed leadership requires more than awareness. It requires repentance, humility, surrender, and obedience. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: James 1:25 (NKJV) James reminds us that the person who continues in God's Word and becomes a doer rather than a forgetful hearer is blessed in what he does. The purpose of biblical discernment is not to make us more critical of others. It is to make us more surrendered to Christ. TODAY'S PLUMBLINE CHALLENGE Set aside intentional time to respond to what the Holy Spirit has been revealing throughout this module. Ask yourself: What motive, attitude, or pattern has God's Word exposed in my heart this week? Have I genuinely surrendered it, or have I simply acknowledged that it exists? What specific act of repentance, obedience, or realignment is God calling me to take? Bring your reflections into prayer. Complete your weekly formation assignment, and consider sharing what you are learning with your trusted community. Do not rush past what God has revealed. Remember: Revelation without response can leave us unchanged. Conviction invites repentance. And true discernment must ultimately lead us into a life increasingly governed by the truth of Jesus Christ. The plumbline has revealed what is out of alignment. Now respond to the One who is calling you into truth. Scripture measures. Wisdom aligns. Obedience transforms. RUACH SCHOOL OF MINISTRY Forming Spirit-led leaders from the inside out. E44 Put Discernment Into Obedience | PRACTICE Your Daily Plumbline Day 5 M3 |

What good is recognizing the truth if you are unwilling to let it change how you live? Discernment was never meant to end with awareness. It must lead us into obedience. Discernment without obedience can leave us informed but unchanged. God does not reveal truth merely so we can recognize it. He calls us to walk in it. Welcome to E44, Day 5 - PRACTICE of Your Daily Plumbline, Module 3: Biblical Worldview & Spirit-Formed Discernment, with Rev. Anthony Morphis of Ruach School of Ministry. Today's focus is Put Discernment Into Obedience - Motives Under the Light. Throughout this week, we have been examining the motives of our hearts, the influences shaping our perspectives, and the importance of allowing Scripture to govern our discernment. But recognizing what is happening within us is only part of the journey. The true test of discernment is what we do with the truth God reveals. You may recognize that fear is influencing a decision. But will you choose to trust God? You may discover that pride has shaped your response. But will you humble yourself? You may realize that personal ambition has been driving your actions. But will you surrender your plans to the Lord? Spiritual maturity is not demonstrated merely by our ability to recognize what is right. It is revealed through our willingness to obey. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: James 1:22 (NKJV) "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." God's Word calls us beyond observation into transformation. A Spirit-formed leader must be willing to bring thoughts, motives, attitudes, and decisions under the authority of Scripture. TODAY'S PLUMBLINE CHALLENGE Today, move from examination into intentional obedience. Ask yourself: What has God revealed about my motives or thinking this week? Where have I recognized something that needs to change but delayed responding? What specific act of obedience can I practice today that demonstrates my willingness to surrender? Choose one practical step. Perhaps it is apologizing, extending forgiveness, changing a decision, letting go of an unhealthy ambition, or responding with humility instead of defensiveness. Do not merely acknowledge what needs to change. Practice the obedience that brings your life into alignment with God's Word. Remember: Discernment reveals what needs attention. Surrender opens the heart to correction. Obedience puts truth into practice. The goal is not to become people who simply recognize truth. The goal is to become people whose lives are being formed by it. Scripture measures. Wisdom aligns. Obedience transforms. RUACH SCHOOL OF MINISTRY Forming Spirit-led leaders from the inside out. E43 Examine the Lens of Your Heart | EXAMINE Your Daily Plumbline Day 4 M3 |

Before you call something discernment, have you allowed God to examine the heart through which you're seeing it? Not everything you feel strongly about is spiritual discernment. Sometimes the first thing God wants to examine is the heart doing the discerning. Welcome to E43, Day 4 — EXAMINE of Your Daily Plumbline, Module 3: Biblical Worldview & Spirit-Formed Discernment, with Rev. Anthony Morphis of Ruach School of Ministry. Today's focus is Examine the Lens of Your Heart. We often ask God to reveal what is happening around us while overlooking what may be influencing our perspective within us. Our experiences, wounds, fears, personal preferences, and hidden motives can shape how we interpret situations, people, and even Scripture. This is why biblical discernment requires more than spiritual sensitivity. It requires a surrendered heart and a mind continually submitted to the truth of God's Word. Before we examine others, we must be willing to be examined ourselves. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 139:23–24 (NKJV) David invites God to search his heart, examine his thoughts, and lead him in the everlasting way. That is the posture of a Spirit-formed leader. Not defensive. Not self-righteous. Not determined to prove a point. But humble, teachable, and willing to be corrected. TODAY'S PLUMBLINE CHALLENGE Spend time before the Lord and honestly examine these questions: Where might my emotions, past experiences, or personal preferences be influencing my judgment? Have I confused suspicion, fear, or personal opinion with spiritual discernment? Am I willing to let Scripture correct my perspective, even when that correction challenges what I have believed? Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal where your thinking needs to come into alignment with God's truth. Remember: The plumbline does not bend to accommodate the wall. God's truth is not adjusted to fit our perspective. Our perspective must be brought into alignment with His truth. Before you discern the world around you, allow God to examine the heart within you. Scripture measures. Wisdom aligns. Obedience transforms. RUACH SCHOOL OF MINISTRY Forming Spirit-led leaders from the inside out.
