Der 17. Dezember 2014 sollte der Wendepunkt in der schwierigen Beziehung zwischen den USA und Kuba sein. In koordinierten Fernsehansprachen verkünden US-Präsident Barack Obama und der kubanische Präsident Raúl Castro die Aufnahme offizieller diplomatischer Beziehungen. Nach anfänglichen Erfolgen nahm der progressive Kurs jedoch eine Wendung. In dieser Rückschau blicken wir zurück auf das stets angespannte Verhältnis zwischen schen den Vereinigten Staaten und Kuba – von der kubanischen Revolution bis heute.

Erstbezug One World Trade Center
541 Meter hoch und Quadratmeterpreise von bis zu 860$ pro Monat; das sind nur zwei Kennzahlen zum One World Trade Center. Über 13 Jahre nach den Terroranschlägen des 11. September 2001 auf das World Trade Center ziehen die ersten Mieter in den Neubau ein. Der Turm, der unter dem Namen "Freedom Tower" geplant wurde, ist dabei voller Symbole – Name, Dachhöhe, Gesamthöhe, um nur einige zu nennen. In der 28. Rückschau blicken wir zurück und wollen überdies wissen, was sonst so am "Ground Zero" entstanden ist.
