Ellery Lincoln on running a 4:27 mile as a high school jr., racing against the pros at the Pre Classic, game plan for the U20 world championship and more
<p>Ellery Lincoln is set to compete at the U20 world championships in the August in the 1500 and just wrapped up a historic Jr. year of high school racing.</p><p><br /></p><p>Most recently Ellery competed in her first diamond league at the pre classic where she snagged a 4:07 personal best in the 1500 and held her own against the pros.</p><p><br /></p><p>Before the Pre classic Ellery ran a 4:27 mile at Hola festival of miles which is good for #3 on the high school girls all time list and then secured her spot on the worlds team by placing second at USA U20 nationals.</p><p><br /></p><p>In this episode I had the pleasure of sitting down with Ellery and got to debrief her record setting season, discuss what’s to come and more.</p><p><br /></p><p>Ellery is a great young talent and is very well spoken. Her father Daniel Lincoln was a former U.S. Olympian in the Steeplechase and her mother Sarah Schwald was an NCAA 3k champion and a world championship qualifier in the 1500 so Ellery comes from a running Family but is carving her own path.</p><p><br /></p><p>Be sure to tune into this episode for a glimpse into the story of Ellery Lincoln.</p>

Looking back: Noah Bontrager after going sub four in the mile and becoming a national champion indoors
<p>Today I’m joined by Noah bontrager!</p><p><br></p><p>This conversation is from back when Noah won the new balance indoor nationals mile going sub four in the process and setting a huge lifetime best.</p><p><br></p><p>It's been a minute since the last podcast drop but this a great conversation to kick things back off.</p><p><br></p><p>Since our conversation after indoor nationals Noah won outdoor state in the 3200 and 1600 in Indiana and most recently won the U20 3k in Eugene Oregon which qualified him for world jrs where he will represent team USA.</p><p><br></p><p>Noah is staying in his home state and heading to Notre Dame in fall to continue his academic and athletic career.</p><p><br></p><p>In this episode we discuss everything that went into Noah’s breakout race where he became a national champion, his crazy range, how his cross country season shaped him and more.</p>

Jack Graffeo: The Colorado redshirt freshman who ran a 13:29 5k in his return to his home town discusses adjusting to the NCAA and building back after season ending injury
