Se ha desempeñado en el ámbito académico desde hace más de 40 años, como docente, ocupando diversos cargos directivos, perteneciendo a comités editoriales, siendo docente invitado en Francia y Japón y miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores desde 1985.</p>
