Episode 11: Beskyttende faktorer i selvmordsforebygging
I denne episoden møter vi Victoria Bakken, som nylig har tatt en doktorgrad på NTNU knytta til selvmordsforebygging. I stedet for å lete etter risiko og faresignaler, har hun undersøkt hvilke beskyttende faktorer som følger oss fra ungdomstida og inn i voksenlivet, og som kan gjøre en livsviktig forskjell. Hvilke personlige egenskaper, relasjoner og miljøer kan bygge motstandskraft hos unge? Og hvorfor er det slik at jenter og gutter ikke alltid trenger det samme? Vi diskuterer hvilke beskyttende faktorer som er viktig og hvordan de kan brukes av fagfolk og samfunnet, til å styrke unge i møte med livet. Episode 9: Voldtekt
Voldtekt er en av de mest traumatiske opplevelsene et menneske kan gjennomgå, og konsekvensene er ofte omfattende og langvarige. Flere undersøkelser viser at voldtekt gir høyest prosentvis risiko for posttraumatisk stresslidelse (PTSD), sammenlignet med andre traumeerfaringer. Voldtekt er et samfunnsproblem og i episoden berører vi blant annet disse spørsmålene: I denne episoden spør vi blant annet: Hvor utbredt er voldtekt og hva kan vi si om utsatte? Hvilke oppfølgingsbehov har voldtektsutsatte? Hvilke forhold i samfunnet, eller i mennesket, kan hjelpe oss å forstå hvorfor voldtekt er så utbredt? Hva går forskningsstudien Early Intervention after Rape (EIR) ut på? Og hva bør helsepersonell tenke på, når de møter noen som har blir voldtatt? I studio har vi med oss Helen Naalsund og Tina Haugen. Naalsund er psykiatrisk sykepleier v/overgrepsmottaket til St. Olavs hospital i Trondheim og holder på med en mastergrad i klinisk rettsmedisinsk sykepleie. Haugen er psykologspesialist ved RVTS Midt og stipendiat ved NTNU hvor hun holder på med en doktorgrad om voldtekt. Kommunikasjonsrådgiver ved RVTS Midt, Unni Skoglund, leder samtalen.
