Sacred & Strategic

About Sacred & Strategic

Your work is both sacred & strategic—and for far too long, they have been held apart. You get concrete, practical results for your clients. And that is no longer enough. You have a deeper aspect to your work—that is how you really want to do what you do. It’s different from the rest of your profession—energetic, holistic, revolutionary even—and it doesn’t seem to fit. Join me, Rebecca Rama Devi Prien, a business advisor, spiritual teacher and attorney with more than 20 years of experience at the leading edge of holistic change in unlikely professions to explore: How to integrate the sacred and the strategic parts of your work—without sacrificing financial stability or professional respect; and How to untangle the one thing at the root of what distracts & derails you from clearly & consistently doing that.

A Restructuring, A Respite & A Return: What Sacred & Strategic Advising Is, Where It Came from & What It Does

In this episode, I return to the podcast after an intentional, but unexpectedly long, pause in the wake of restructuring how I offer Sacred & Strategic Advising. I share my experience as an example of what I witness in my work with clients: that structural coherence operates 3 levels deeper and 3 steps prior than you are aware. I retrace how I came to this work over 25 years: from Princeton history major to initiate of Śaiva Tantra, using my law practice as an incubator for weaving together the sacred & the strategic. I also outline what the mechanism and traceable arc of Sacred & Strategic Advising are—and how my Intensive and Rite of Passage offerings engage them to midwife your mature, fully-realized body of work. Work with Me.

Voice Note 06.16.26 | When A Diversion Is Not A Diversion

Voice Notes are short, in-the-moment, personal reflections. Today: why my diversion into the relationship between Artha (wealth) and Dharma (purpose)—and the slow work of making connections and crafting language—is so very me and so essential to my work.

Voice Note 05.13.26 | Structural Coherence Is Liberation

Voice Notes are short, in-the-moment, personal reflections. Today: I finally have the business model that I’ve always wanted—and I’ve been afraid to create. I share what I'm witnessing (that makes this structural coherence liberation), what I'm assessing (about 30 years of a fundamental incoherence), what is changing to make my business model structurally coherent with my work, how my clients want to work with me, and how I want to work with them.
