Peter is praying on a rooftop when a strange vision interrupts him — unclean animals, a voice telling him to eat, and no explanation why. Miles away, a Roman centurion named Cornelius has already seen an angel of his own. Neither man knows what God is doing until their stories collide, and the wall between Jew and Gentile comes down for good. Christ is Lord of all — and he shows no partiality.
In this sermon we follow Peter to Cornelius's house and watch the gospel reach further than anyone expected. Whether you've been on the outside looking in, or you're not sure there's still a place for you, the invitation is the same: come to the table.

From Enemies to Sons • Acts 9:1-31
Saul of Tarsus was not a wandering skeptic. He was a hunter of Christians, armed with letters and full of murderous zeal, when the risen Christ met him on the road to Damascus. What happens next isn't a moral tune-up (it's death and resurrection). The same Christ who is blinding Saul with glory is, in the same breath, calling him "brother" through Ananias and setting him apart as a son. This week we watch grace do what no argument could: turn Christ's chief enemy into a first-fruit of the family.

The Gospel to the Most Unlikely
In Acts 8, Philip is sent away from a fruitful ministry into what looks like a desert—only to discover that God has already been at work in the heart of an unlikely seeker: an Ethiopian eunuch. This message explores how the gospel breaks through every barrier—cultural, religious, personal—to reach the most unlikely people… including us.
We’ll see how the Spirit leads Philip, how Scripture points to Jesus, and how one man who had always been kept at a distance is brought all the way in. Along the way, we’ll wrestle with the uncomfortable truth that we often get in the way of the gospel’s reach—either by offering inclusion without Jesus, or by adding barriers Jesus never asked for.
Ultimately, this passage invites us to follow the Spirit into “desert places,” trust the power of the gospel, and go to the unlikely, seeing no one as too far for Christ to save.
