She has a PHD in French literature and an MFA in creative nonfiction. She is working on a memoir titled “My Body Remembers,” and has blogged as The Viking Jewess since 2014. Her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The HuffPost, Tablet, Lilith, Brevity and Hippocampus (forthcoming), among other places.
