Pastor Greg Melvin urged the church to seek more than programs and traditions by pursuing the baptism of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing that Spirit-filled believers receive power for personal transformation, discernment, deliverance, and effective witness. Revival and anointing were presented as necessary to confront temptation, renew the church's focus on the lost and hurting, and produce tangible results like healings and life change. The message called listeners to repent, surrender fleshly habits, and actively pursue the Holy Ghost so the congregation can move from passive attendance to Spirit-led ministry and impact.

Seasons
Pastor Michael Talley delivered a sermon defining spiritual "seasons" as appointed times from God that are intentional, beneficial, and meant for learning, emphasizing that circumstances do not have authority to define those seasons. He warned against mislabeling consequences of sin as God-ordained seasons, urged repentance for unconfessed or habitual sin, and reminded the congregation that Christ's power is greater than any trial and believers should not face seasons alone. The service closed with an altar call offering prayer and support for those needing salvation, repentance, or encouragement in a difficult season.

When It's Dark Will You Still Trust God
Pastor Greg Melvin encouraged listeners to trust God during dark, uncertain, and fearful seasons, using Habakkuk and Job as examples of holding faith when circumstances seem unjust or delayed. The message emphasized that God is already working behind the scenes, that believers are free in Christ regardless of their situation, and that the proper response to hardship is to rejoice, pray, and praise God amid the pain. Practical calls included rejecting fear (2 Timothy 1:7), maintaining trust even when outcomes are unclear, and calling on God in trouble (Psalm references) rather than surrendering to despair.
