About SAFE with A & M in the am

We don't claim to be the 2 smartest guys in the room, but we do have this to offer--we are tuned in, longtime, local fans focused in on one thing, the best bet on the next Giant's game. We are a father and son team that follows the Giants closely; we also follow the betting lines closely and we hope to bring these together every morning to bring you what we refer to as the Safe Bet of the Day.™ Unlike other pods, we are here to pre-view tonight's game, not re-view last night's. We are forward looking. We share our analysis and predictions and then give out what we think is the best bet on the board for tonight. We don't give out picks for other teams, in other sports, or for other people. We hone, we narrow, we focus, all to try to bring you a winner. So, good luck, stay safe, and go Giants.

   Giants Dwarf Lad

Giants win again, 2 in a row! M is home late from work, so it's a short one today. The usual quick recap of last night's win, a review of the SBOD, and then it's right into tonight's matchup and game. Since M didn't have time to do too much research, he tosses out some game predictions before discussing his leans and then finally settling on today's Safe Bet of the Day™. Today's song of the day is by The Be Good Tanyas, titled "Draft Daughter's Blues". Hope you l...

   McDonald Up From Farm

What a crazy Giants win yesterday! M spends a little time recapping that roller coaster ride before moving on to tonight's game in LA. The pitching matchup changed from yesterday's projections so a quick look at the new pitcher for the Dodgers leads to a change in game prediction. Finally, after reevaluating the numbers, M finds a Safe Bet of the Day™ that he particularly likes, which is a rarity this season. It's based on the idea that Trevor McDonald is severely unde...

   Thanks Mom!

Giants lose an ugly one. Offense, defense, pitching--all bad. But it's Mother's Day today, time to think of flowers and chocolate and thank you's, so it doesn't take long to review last night's loss and move on to this afternoon's game. A quick review of the pitcher's numbers leads to a discussion of today's odds. They don't look good, but thanks to a little input from Aidan we are able to mine a Safe Bet of the Day™. Speaking of mining, today's song of the day is "Dig...
