[…] I suppose you could say there are two main reasons for this whole initiative. The first one for our three organisations is obviously the importance of promoting the profession of social work and of social development and doing this as a partnership is absolutely crucial and core and we need to strengthen our voice, collective voice and the voice of the profession and to do that of course you have to have credibility, you have to demonstrate academic coherence, you have to demonstrate that there's been impact and that together we're able to influence the shape of the discourse internationally and I think it has been incredible how the agenda has actually enabled that debate to happen and we are now making substantial progress.
