Podcast Overview

Mark 1:15 tells us “Repent, and believe in the gospel.”  Repent means to turn from your current path away from God and believe in the good news (Gospel), that God provides eternal life as a gift for anyone who believes in Jesus Christ.  So, how do I express my trust in Jesus Christ? Romans 10:9 tells us that “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”  You need to confess openly that Jesus is your Lord (Master) and believe in your heart that God raised Him so you can be saved.

The Bible tells us Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. But He is not only a King who will return one day—He is in charge right now.Life can look like chaos. Wars, broken homes, injustice, sickness—it feels like no one is in control. But Scripture reminds us God is still on the throne. Jesus has already defeated sin and death through the cross and resurrection, and today He reigns over all things. Nothing slips through His hands. And yet, His work is not finished. The Bible promises that one day Jesus will return—not in humility, but in glory. He will set all things right, wipe away every tear, and establish His kingdom forever. For those who belong to Him, that’s not a reason to fear but to rejoice. So here’s the question: is Jesus your King? Not just in theory, but in your heart? If He truly rules the universe, then He has the right to rule your life. Submitting to Him brings peace now and hope for eternity.Friend, the King is coming—and He already reigns. Episode 7: Who is Jesus? The Risen Lord

Who Jesus Is: The Risen Lord Salvation Connection is here to walk with you as you make the most important decision of your life—inviting Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and Savior. These messages are meant to lovingly guide you through the questions and uncertainties that many people have about Him. The heart of Christianity is not a cross, but an empty tomb. Jesus is not only the One who died—He is the One who rose again. That is who Jesus is: the Risen Lord.  Many leaders have died and been remembered. Only Jesus conquered death and is alive forever. His resurrection is proof that His sacrifice worked. Death could not hold Him. Sin could not defeat Him. And because He lives, He can give life to anyone who believes.  Why is that important? Because without the resurrection, sin and death would still have the last word. But with it, everything changes. It means forgiveness is real, hope is secure, and eternity is open to all who trust Him.  Maybe you fear death. Maybe you wonder if your life has meaning. The empty tomb answers both—death is not the end, and life with Jesus lasts forever. That’s the hope only the Risen Lord can give.So many people look left and right for hope—in achievements, relationships, money, or politics. But hope is not found around us; it comes from above. Real hope is not based on what you can do, but on what Christ has already done. When you put your trust in Him, your hope is secure—because it’s anchored in the unshakable truth of Jesus Christ, risen from the dead.Friend, you can know that hope right now. You can trust the One who died for your sins and rose again to give you life. To accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior please press PLAY above.SINNER’S PRAYER If you’ve never trusted Christ, pray from your heart:Dear Lord, I am a sinner, and I need a Savior.   I am sorry for my sins, and I repent.I believe You died on the Cross for my sins and rose again. I ask you to come into my heart right now and be my Lord and Savior.  I know from this point moving forward I will have eternal life in you.  Please order my steps and help me to live in such a way that brings honor and glory to Your Name Thank you, Jesus, for your gift of salvation.  If you prayed that prayer and believe it in your heart, God’s Word says you are saved—not because of what you’ve done, but because of who Jesus is and what He has done for you.The prayer does not save you; it is your faith now being placed in Jesus Christ as your Savior and what he did on the Cross that saves you.God's love and his grace is being freely given to you and know that you are a new creation. Second Corinthians 5:17 tells us that the old is gone and all things are new.So don't walk in your old ways, begin a new walk in the ways of Christ.Find a good bible and begin to read God’s Word, start praying and be sensitive to how the Holy Spirit speaks to you. Join a local church that teaches the inerrant word of God and use the gifts and talents he has given you for his glory and the benefit of others.I pray that your walk with our Lord and Savior may be full, and you especially enjoy His moments in your life.May God bless youIf you accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and Savior, please send us an e-mail at prayerpods@aol.com

Episode 6: Who is Jesus The Good Shepherd

Who Jesus Is: The Good Shepherd Salvation Connection is here to walk with you as you make the most important decision of your life—inviting Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and Savior. These messages are meant to lovingly guide you through the questions and uncertainties that many people have about Him. Jesus called Himself the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep. Sheep are vulnerable, defenseless, and prone to wander. Without a shepherd, they are lost.  That’s a picture of us. We wander. We get lost in sin, in selfishness, in chasing what never satisfies. We go our own way, and it leaves us empty. But the Good Shepherd doesn’t abandon His sheep—He comes looking. He knows us by name. He protects, provides, and ultimately gave His life on the cross.  Why did He have to die? Because sin left us helpless, and only His sacrifice could bring us back. The Shepherd laid down His life so His sheep could live. That’s not duty—that’s love.  Maybe you feel like you’ve wandered too far, like you could never find your way back. Friend, the Good Shepherd has not forgotten you. He is calling you, ready to forgive you, ready to lead you home.  Today, you can stop wandering. You can belong to Him. He offers to lead you, protect you, and give you eternal life.  To accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior please press PLAY above.SINNER’S PRAYER If you’ve never trusted Christ, pray from your heart:Dear Lord, I am a sinner, and I need a Savior.   I am sorry for my sins, and I repent.  Pause I believe You died on the Cross for my sins and rose again.
