that feeling of discomfort as you watch someone’s muddy sneaker slowly lands onto a clean white carpet. we totally relate. but not everyone does. growing up in multiple cultures creates a unique blend of pride, resentment, and identity. how “white” are we allowed to be? at what point do we forgo one culture for the other? why do we steer towards one culture as opposed to the other? how do we navigate situations when our cultural morals and values contradict each other? we discuss all these questions and more with jhanvi, alezeh, and joeita who share stories of their experience with biculturalism and how to figure out who you are with all the different cultures you come from be sure to subscribe and follow us on instagram for more updates @samosas.mimosas :) see you next time~~ for business inquiries & collaborations please contact us at: dilse-team@umich.edu
