and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham's descendants.

2:9 惟獨見那成為比天使小一點的耶穌〔或譯：惟獨見耶穌暫時比天使小〕；因為受死的苦，就得了尊貴榮耀為冠冕，叫他因著 神的恩，為人人嘗了死味。
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
2:10 原來那為萬物所屬為萬物所本的，要領許多的兒子進榮耀裏去，使救他們的元帥，因受苦難得以完全，本是合宜的。
0 In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.
2:11 因那使人成聖的和那些得以成聖的，都是出於一。所以，他稱他們為弟兄也不以為恥，
Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.
2:12 說：我要將你的名傳與我的弟兄，在會中我要頌揚你；
He says,<<I will declare your name to my brothers; in the presence of the congregation I will sing your praises.>> (\f11 2:12 Psalm 22:22)
2:13 又說：我要倚賴他；又說：看哪，我與 神所給我的兒女。
And again,<<I will put my trust in him.>> (\f12 2:13 Isaiah 8:17)And again he says,<<Here am I, and the children God has given me.>> (\f13 2:13 Isaiah 8:18)

2:5 我們所說將來的世界， 神原沒有交給天使管轄。
It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking.

But there is a place where someone has testified:<<What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?

and put everything under his feet.>> (\f10 2:8 Psalm 8:4-6)In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him.

EP7 希伯來書二章1-4節｜㳺璟蓉牧師
2:1 所以，我們當越發鄭重所聽見的道理，恐怕我們隨流失去。
We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
2:2 那藉著天使所傳的話既是確定的；凡干犯悖逆的都受了該受的報應。
For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,
2:3 我們若忽略這麼大的救恩，怎能逃罪呢？這救恩起先是主親自講的，後來是聽見的人給我們證實了。
how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.
2:4 神又按自己的旨意，用 神蹟、奇事和百般的異能，並聖靈的恩賜，同他們作見證。
God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

1:14 天使豈不都是服役的靈、奉差遣為那將要承受救恩的人效力嗎？
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

1:9 你喜愛公義，恨惡罪惡；所以 神，就是你的 神，用喜樂油膏你，勝過膏你的同伴；
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.>> (\f6 1:9 Psalm 45:6,7)
1:10 又說：主啊，你起初立了地的根基；天也是你手所造的。
0 He also says,<<In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
1:11 天地都要滅沒，你卻要長存。天地都要像衣服漸漸舊了；
They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment.
1:12 你要將天地捲起來，像一件外衣，天地就都改變了。惟有你永不改變；你的年數沒有窮盡。
You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.>> (\f7 1:12 Psalm 102:25-27)

So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

For to which of the angels did God ever say,<<You are my Son; today I have become your Father (\f1 1:5 Or|i have begotten you|d)>> (\f2 1:5 Psalm 2:7)?Or again,<<I will be his Father, and he will be my Son>>(\f3 1:5 2 Samuel 7:14; 1 Chron. 17:13)?
1:6再者，神使長子到世上來的時候〔或譯： 神再使長子到世上來的時候〕，就說： 神的使者都要拜他。

The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
