The Need for Justification | Romans 3 | October 3, 2026
What happens when we stand before a holy and righteous God?
In this message from our series The Gospel, Pastor Jason opens Romans 3 to confront the universal reality of sin and humanity's accountability before God. Paul makes clear that no one is righteous on their own and that every person stands guilty before the God who judges with perfect justice. Our morality, religious efforts, and good works cannot remove the guilt of sin or make us righteous before Him.
Yet the weight of our guilt points us toward the good news of God's grace. As Paul prepares to reveal the righteousness God provides through faith in Jesus Christ, we see why the gospel is not merely good advice—it is the only hope for people who cannot save themselves.
Join us as we confront the seriousness of sin, recognize our need for a Savior, and prepare to see the grace of God revealed in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

As Paul declares that he is “not ashamed of the gospel,” we are reminded that the gospel is God's power for salvation and the revelation of His righteousness. It is a message that calls every person to faith and points us to the transforming work of God through Jesus.
Join us as we explore the heart of the gospel and consider what it means to live with confidence in the good news of Jesus Christ.
