Scandalously saved is a faith based podcast that derives its name from the scandalous act that is salvation. That God loved us so much that in our sin, He sent His beloved son Jesus to die for us. And that through that powerful act there is now nothing that can separate us from the love of God. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from or what you’ve done, salvation is for all. Scandalous.
Join me, Tumisang M, as I walk out this journey of salvation. This podcast is dedicated to studying the word and delving on all matters of life as the Holy Spirit leads. Thank you for being here.
In this episode of Scandalously Saved, we unpack the sobering parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13 and ask a question every believer needs to reflect on: Do we have oil?
We dive deep into what it means to live prepared, or unprepared for the return of Christ. What does ‘oil’ look like in our world today? How is it possible to be spiritually active but still running on empty? And why can’t anyone else carry our oil for us?
If Jesus came today… would our lamps be burning?

Amazing Grace (God chose you)
In this episode, we’re going back to the heart of the Gospel—the cross. Whether you’re new to faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, this episode is a reminder of what makes grace so scandalous. From the limitations of the old covenant and the law to the transforming love found in Christ - salvation is never earned but freely given. We were chosen, loved, and drawn by the Father—not by our works, but by His grace alone.

Jesus Christ our hope
In this episode, we reflect on Psalm 20:7 which says, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” In a world that constantly pushes us to place our hope in money, success, relationships, and influence, this is a reminder to come back to the only One who truly saves.
If you’ve ever struggled with misplaced trust or felt the pull of worldly validation, this episode is for you.

What do you believe?
In Acts 23:6-9, we see a stark contrast between the Pharisees and the Sadducees—a group that denied the supernatural, rejecting belief in the resurrection, angels, and spirits. Yet, throughout Scripture, we find undeniable evidence that everything is spiritual and serves a purpose, whether advancing good or evil.
The question is: What do you believe? Are you aware of the spiritual forces at work around you, or do you, like the Sadducees, dismiss what you cannot see?

Faithful to finish
It’s easy to trust God at the beginning of something new, but what about the middle—the waiting, the setbacks, the unanswered questions? In this episode, we’re breaking down Philippians 1:6 and the truth that God never leaves His work unfinished. No matter where you are in your journey, He’s still working.

The ‘why’ of it all
God is intentional. Every person He places in our lives and every path He leads us on is for a purpose beyond what we can see. While He wants us to succeed in our work, studies, and pursuits, His plans are rooted in something far greater. As children of God, we’re physically positioned and connected to fulfill His divine purpose. In this episode, we dive into the deeper “why” behind where God has placed us.
