We discuss the way the journeys of the two icons of international football Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are at their dusk. The scenarios couldn't be more starkly different. For the Argentinian maestro, it ends in glory and for the Portuguese superstar, it ends in acrimony with the newly appointed coach Jorge Jesus and the Portugal FA. We present our opinions on what could and should happen to give a graceful exit to this legend.
As far as popularity contests go, there is nothing bigger than the Ballon D'or ceremony. The race is led by the English veteran Harry Kane, the new La' Masia prodigy Lamine Yamal and the ever-present French Real Madrid talisman Kylian Mbappe. We rate their chances on trophies, goalscoring and football statistics and individual brilliance.
Finally we discuss as injury woes have gripped Liverpool and Chelsea as the face the controversy draped Man City and winless B'mouth. At the same point Manchester United looks desperate to turn a leaf over the underwhelming start by beating the 20th placed Tottenham managed by Roberto De Zerbi.

# 62: 2026/27: Seagulls steal United's sandwich and Spurs get humiliated at the hands of Liverpool, City resillient
We return for another episode for the Schrodinger's Ball Pod this week to discuss the GW 4 games in the Premier League where United lose their Mancunian rivals despite an early red card for Phil Foden and Chelsea & Liverpool getting draws against Fulham and Hull City, despite another wonder-show at the hands of CPR (Cole, Perdro, Rogers) due to their naive defense.
In the EFL cup Raj is pleased by the hands-on rescue mission undertaken by Macallister and Szoboszalai despite the worrying signs in shot conversion shown by the expensive Liverpool frontline. He sees green shoots of strong pressing and defending in this game though and is looking forward to the next EFL Cup tie where they face Chelsea in the EFL Cup 4th round at Anfield.Manchester United meanwhile also suffered a shocking loss to the Seagulls as the team came back to being 2-0 down in first 10 mins due to a Shea Lacey wonderstrike.Hosts: Chinmay, Raj and Sanket
