<p>as nazis descended on our capital la tormenta descended on our street (i use the spanish "la tormenta" because it's so much more dramatique than the english) la tormenta tormenting street trees grabbing by trunks shaking like a baby discovering banners whipping the big ones the ones someone maybe should have gotten trimmed all those big old limbs away from each other just the way the arborists say they whip away from each other when they finally break until CRASH branch after CRASH branch after CRASH litter yards and streets and bend the hydrangea branches down to the ground but still YOU came out right on schedule floating up from aromatic earth despite still heavy rain despite the wreckage singing in bodily glow to comrades to community to friends to mates, and maybe haters say you’re just trying to get laid but there are nazis descending on the capital and some of y’all are f*****g, sure you’re finding joy in this moment but also some of y’all are hunting luring unsuspecting males with mimicked blinks or maybe you’re just eating dinner raising children making a life building a world amid the ruins so go on little role model let your little light shine</p> <br/><br/>Get full access to Scientific Animism at <a href="https://newsletter.scientificanimism.org/subscribe?utm_medium=podcast&utm_campaign=CTA_4">newsletter.scientificanimism.org/subscribe</a>
