Sharing Nature and Montessori
Might Montessori education be inherently oriented toward the outdoors? Nature games from Sharing Nature could prove immensely helpful in advancing Montessori activities.
Furthermore, if expensive Montessori materials are reimagined into activities where children craft the tools themselves, the cost of materials becomes zero while simultaneously elevating the quality of the learning experience.
In this discussion, we explored a bold idea regarding an “outdoor Montessori” approach—one that challenges the trend of education becoming increasingly indoor-focused as modernization progresses.

What Is Happening to Our Ecosystems
The global population has surpassed 8 billion. Today, we continue to rely on fossil fuels while fighting one another just to sustain everyone. The 21st century is an era of confronting global-scale challenges.
The issue of our collective survival—the key to sustaining Earth’s civilization—lies right beneath our feet. It is about restoring soil health, expanding biodiversity, and strengthening ecosystems.
Yet, we cannot learn how to do this through compulsory education or university curricula. This is not found at the far end of hyper-specialization, but rather in a philosophy of nature-based management reached through becoming a true “polymath.”
