Welcome to the dark side of movies.
For this episode, Scream Freaks dives into Curry Barker’s 2026 supernatural horror film Obsession.
Bear has spent years hopelessly in love with his childhood friend Nikki. When he discovers the mysterious “One Wish Willow,” he makes the one wish he thinks will finally give him everything he wants: for Nikki to love him back.
Unfortunately, he gets exactly what he asked for.
What begins as wish fulfillment quickly twists into something disturbing as love becomes fixation, affection becomes control, and Bear discovers that forcing someone to love you comes with consequences he could never have imagined. With dark humor, supernatural horror, toxic romance, and an increasingly unhinged descent into obsession, the movie asks a deceptively simple question:
If you could make someone love you, would you really want to?
But is Obsession a twisted modern horror gem, or does this love story become too much of a good thing?
There may be spoilers, so be careful what you wish for.

Krampus | Scream Freaks Podcast | Episode 51
For this episode, Fabulous B is joined by Captain Bill and Rick Amortis as Scream Freaks heads into the snow for Michael Dougherty’s 2015 holiday horror film, Krampus.
When a dysfunctional family loses sight of the Christmas spirit, they attract the attention of an ancient holiday figure who does not reward bad behavior with coal. Instead, Krampus and his twisted helpers turn Christmas into a frozen nightmare of dark folklore, vicious toys, family chaos, and supernatural punishment.
With its mix of holiday comedy, creature effects, practical horror, and old-world Christmas mythology, Krampus has become a modern seasonal favorite for horror fans who like a little darkness under the tree.
But is Krampus a holiday horror classic, or just Christmas chaos wrapped in chains?
There may be spoilers, so keep the fire burning, listen for the bells, and proceed carefully.

Skinwalkers Movie Review | Scream Freaks Podcast | Episode 50
For this episode, Fabulous B is joined by Captain Bill and Dr. Blackveil as Scream Freaks sinks its teeth into the 2006 werewolf action-horror film Skinwalkers.
The movie follows a young boy caught in the middle of a centuries-old war between two groups of werewolves: one fighting to end the curse, and the other embracing the beast within. As the full moon rises and the bloodlines collide, the battle becomes a mix of family secrets, prophecy, gunfire, and supernatural chaos.
With leather-clad werewolves, action-heavy horror, early-2000s attitude, and plenty of genre debate fuel, Skinwalkers brings a different kind of bite to the werewolf table.
But is Skinwalkers an underrated werewolf action flick, or does this one belong buried under the full moon?
There may be spoilers, so watch the moon, trust no one with glowing eyes, and proceed carefully.
