Josh Excoriates "The Count of Monte Cristo" (2002)

Welcome to ScreenWalkers, a brother/sister podcast where we, the Walkers, tell you what’s on our screens.

This week, Josh has a lot on his mind. Specifically, he has the book "The Count of Monte Cristo" by Alexandre Dumas and its much-lacking film adaptation from 2002. Join us on a deep dive quite unlike any we've done before, as Josh details the plot of the film, compares it to the plot of the book, and lets us know why it's just so so bad.

Please visit screenwalkerspod.com for our show notes, including a copy of Josh's character map.

Our theme song is Far Away by Alex Grohl, from Pixabay.

In Defense of Trash

Welcome to ScreenWalkers, a brother/sister podcast where we, the Walkers, tell you what’s on our screens.

This week Bekah has a lot of questions about the worst of our media. We all love our trash-- but what makes something trash? If something is trash, why do we even like it? And is liking trashy things even that bad? All these questions and more as the Walkers take on some of the best worst media.

Visit screenwalkerspod.com for our episode notes.

Our theme song is Far Away by Alex Grohl, from Pixabay.

Beautiful Multiplayer Gaming Experiences

Welcome to ScreenWalkers, a brother/sister podcast where we, the Walkers, tell you what’s on our screens.

This week Josh flies us over the world of online gaming, deftly avoiding the badlands of COD lobbies and racist Red Dead Online players, to show us how beautiful collaboration can be (within very moderated guide rails). Will he convince Bekah (famously a Woman on the Internet) that online gaming can be.... good, actually?

(P.S. Josh would like you to know that while editing this episode he burned his finger on the waffle iron, so he spent about an hour soaking the burn in cool water, drying it off, pressing a shortcut, and sticking it back in the water before it starts to hurt again. Truly we are above no price for our art. Or our niche micro-podcast about pop culture.)

Visit screenwalkerspod.com for our episode notes.

Our theme song is Far Away by Alex Grohl, from Pixabay.
