Answering Marcionism
In the second century, a teacher named Marcion proposed something radical: the God of the Old Testament and the God of the New Testament are not the same God. The violent, wrathful deity of the Hebrew scriptures, he argued, had nothing to do with the loving Father Jesus revealed.

Bible differences

The nature of scripture
When a king speaks, his word doesn't lose authority just because someone else delivers it.
In this episode we explore two remarkable characteristics of the word of God — transferal and the equivalence of the spoken and the written — and what they reveal about the nature of divine authority.
We also tackle what looks like a discrepancy between Matthew and Luke on the healing of the centurion's servant. Did the centurion come to Jesus himself, or did he send messengers?

Philosophies behind the existence of God.
In the realm of Christian apologetics, we often encounter various philosophical and worldview "isms" that either affirm, deny, or reinterpret the reality of God. We are going to explore key "isms," examine biblical affirmations of God's existence, and consider rational arguments that counter skeptical views. These "isms" represent systems of thought that shape how people understand the universe, morality and ultimately reality. Some support the case for God's existence, while others challenge it, these often stem from human attempts to explain existence without divine intervention. Our objective in these sessions is not merely to help in intellectual debate but to equip ourselves with a biblical foundation to engage these ideas confidently even when we ourselves struggle with understanding and experiencing.
