<p>The Order of Nine Angles, also known as ONA or O9A, is not a conventional secret society with a public leader, headquarters, or known membership list. It emerged from the United Kingdom in the late twentieth century through occult writings associated with the name Anton Long, whose identity has often been linked by researchers to British extremist David Myatt, a connection Myatt has disputed. O9A presents itself as an initiatory occult tradition, but documented material connected to it combines Satanic language, neo-Nazism, racial supremacy, violent accelerationism, social Darwinism, secrecy, criminal transgression, and contempt for empathy.</p><p><br></p><p>This episode begins with the federal terrorism case against U.S. Army soldier Ethan Melzer. Court records establish that Melzer pleaded guilty to attempting to murder U.S. service members, unlawfully transmitting national-defense information, and attempting to provide material support to terrorists. Prosecutors described O9A as the network he joined or associated with, and said he passed information about his unit to extremist contacts in an effort to help attackers kill fellow soldiers.</p><p><br></p><p>From there, the story traces how O9A writings moved from British occult circulation into internet forums and neo-Nazi accelerationist milieus, overlapping with parts of the environments surrounding Iron March, Atomwaffen Division, Sonnenkrieg Division, National Action, and Tempel ov Blood.
