   Currently 63 with a high of 83 today The Meridian Police Department released a statement regarding Meridian’s second homicide investigation of the year, as authorities continue gathering details surrounding the case.Gunshots erupted along State Boulevard on Monday, leaving one person injured and prompting an active police investigation. Shad White announced that Benjamin Coleman has pleaded guilty to one count of Fraudulent Statements and Representations in a state fraud case.    Currently 52 with a high of 83 today An accident on Highway 11/80 near the Mississippi Highway Patrol office resulted in one man being airlifted for medical treatment. In a separate incident, another medical helicopter transported an individual involved in an ATV accident in Lauderdale County, meeting emergency crews at Key Field. Fire crews responded to a structure fire in Causeyville on Monday night, while a log truck caused damage to a traffic light on Highway 19 South near Southeast School, leading to traffic disruptions.
