When we were kids, we thought adulthood meant that we got to do whatever we wanted. Some Christians approach their liberty in Christ with that juvenile mindset, but the Lord places boundaries around us that we should treasure. -Notes: https://pastormarksbury.blogspot.com/2026/10/sermon-freedom-but-with-boundaries-1.html -Livestream: https://lwbcfruita.org/live -Donations: https://www.lwbcfruita.org/give

The Fruit of Fear: What will you do with Jesus
This sermon examines the trial of Jesus before Pilate to illustrate how fear of man can distort judgment and lead to sinful choices. The central message argues that fear weakens conviction, causing individuals to abandon truth for the sake of personal comfort or social approval. By analyzing Pilate's hesitation and the religious leaders' manipulation, the text highlights the spiritual danger of allowing external pressure to override God's revealed will. The preacher emphasizes that while humans may be tempted by worldly consequences, they are never forced to sin, and true righteousness requires standing firm on the truth despite the cost. Ultimately, the sermon calls believers to pause, pray, and present themselves to God, ensuring their actions reflect holiness rather than selfishness or fear.
