The Testimony-Episode 5-Chapter 5-The Cost
Welcome to The Testimony Podcast on Senetru Radio — a chapter-by-chapter journey through The Testimony: The Relentless Pursuit of the Father, written by Kenny and Susannah LaPoint. Episode 5 | Chapter 5 — The Cost "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." — Matthew 7:13–14 Salvation is free. It will also cost you everything. Chapter 4 established how the calling works — Yahweh's initiative, the logos planted, the second birth. Chapter 5 answers the question that follows: what does it actually require of the one who is called? The institution handed people a transaction. Say this prayer, acknowledge the right facts, receive eternal life — done. Come back next week. This chapter traces exactly how that happened: two true verses quietly stripped of everything that followed them, grace redefined as permission to live unchanged, faith reduced to intellectual agreement, and an entire civilization of people handed a stopping point where the real offer was asking them to go further than they had ever gone. The Greek tells a different story. Charis — grace — is the enabling power that makes it possible to surrender and hold it. Pistis — faith — is total orientation, complete alignment, whole-body trust directed toward Yahweh. Neither one is a one-time transaction you complete and file away. Paul is describing an active, ongoing, costly transformation — not the entry alone, but everything that follows the entry. Jesus called himself the door — and a door is not a destination. He named the destination in John 14: the Father. The institution collapsed the door into the destination and handed people a Jesus-shaped stopping point. But Jesus spent his entire life pointing through himself and toward Yahweh. When you understand what he was actually pointing toward, the cost changes significantly. "So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple." — Luke 14:33 That is the cost. Not most of it. Not the parts that are easy to hand over. All of it. Jesus frames this as something you calculate before you start — not to decide if it's worth doing, but to decide honestly whether you are actually committed to finishing it. And he leaves no room for partial commitment. The narrow gate is too constricted to carry anything through — including the version of yourself you have been managing and protecting. Paul puts it plainly in Galatians 2:20: it is no longer I who live. Not improved. Not managed. Gone. Replaced by the governing center Jesus himself carried — the logos of Yahweh, now living where the self used to live. The enemy knew exactly what he was doing when he removed the cost from the offer. Because the only parts that cost anything are the only parts that actually produce anything real. "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me." — Galatians 2:20 📘 All books available in free PDF download at www.senetru.com. The Testimony-Episode 4-Chapter 4-The Calling
Welcome to The Testimony Podcast on Senetru Radio — a chapter-by-chapter journey through The Testimony: The Relentless Pursuit of the Father, written by Kenny and Susannah LaPoint. Episode 4 | Chapter 4 — The Calling "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. For the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." — John 4:23-24 Chapter 3 showed the pattern — ten lives across Scripture that demonstrated what full surrender to Yahweh looks like. Chapter 4 answers the question those lives raise: how does it happen? What actually occurs when Yahweh calls someone, and what comes after? The answer begins with something most people were never told. You do not choose Yahweh. He chooses you. The calling is His initiative entirely. All that the Father gives me will come to me. — John 6:37. The sequence is known before it unfolds. He is not calling into uncertainty. He already knows who He is calling and what that call will produce in them. When He calls, the one being called comes — not because they have no agency, but because Yahweh knows exactly who He has made them to be. What the call produces is a second birth. The first birth is of flesh — the only operating platform anyone knows until Yahweh moves. The second birth is of Spirit. Not a decision made, not a prayer recited, not an altar call responded to. The logos of Yahweh — His living will and intent — is planted into His children the way a seed is planted in ground. Having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the living and abiding logos of God. — 1 Peter 1:23. It is not something you produce. You only respond when it comes. After the seed is planted, something shifts. The orientation changes. Where the flesh pulls downward toward self-rule and its endless demands, the Spirit pulls upward toward Yahweh. This is not white-knuckled effort or self-discipline. It is a seed growing in the direction of its source. But this is also where the enemy moves in — and this is where the chapter delivers its most important warning. The greatest deceptions are not aimed at obvious destruction. They are aimed precisely at those in whom the logos has just been planted — the ones who feel the pull, the ones who genuinely hunger for something real. What the enemy offers them is not darkness. He offers religion. Ritual. Performance. A door with Yahweh's name on it that does not lead to Yahweh. The parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13 names the mechanism exactly: while men slept — before discernment has formed — the enemy comes in behind the planting and sows lies in the same soil. Tares are biologically indistinguishable from wheat through their entire growth phase. They do not simply fail to nourish. They produce confusion, stupor, and the appearance of being fed while actively working against the one consuming them. For the Galatians it was circumcision — flesh dressed as spiritual completion. For people today it is church attendance, scripture memorization, devotions, tithing, water baptism, ritual communion, and the belief that a credentialed professional is your avenue to know Yahweh. The institution trains you to need it. It positions itself as the interpreter, the authority through which you are permitted to understand what Yahweh is saying — the same move the Levitical system made at Sinai when the people said, Do not let God speak to us. The institution has been standing in that gap ever since, maintaining a distance the true covenant was designed to close. The worship Yahweh is seeking is not a service attended or a performance delivered. It is a life surrendered — the logos planted within, reaching back toward its source, the Spirit in you responding to the Spirit of Yahweh. Not on a schedule. Not through a building. From the inside, as the actual condition of your life. This is what the calling produces.

The Testimony-Episode 3-Chapter 3-The Pattern
Welcome to The Testimony Podcast on Senetru Radio — a chapter-by-chapter journey through The Testimony: The Relentless Pursuit of the Father, written by Kenny and Susannah LaPoint. Episode 3 | Chapter 3 — The Pattern "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth." — Hebrews 11:13 Chapter 1 traced the pursuit across the full arc of Scripture. Chapter 2 uncovered the heart behind it. Chapter 3 makes it personal. Ten lives. Ten people across the span of Scripture who heard the same call, responded to it completely, and were never the same. Not heroes of religious performance. Not figures to be admired from a distance and filed away as relics of a bygone era. People who lived the covenant offer — fully surrendered, nothing withheld — and in doing so, showed what it looks like when Yahweh's pursuit is met with a yes. Noah built for something not yet visible. Abraham left for a city whose builder and maker is Yahweh, with no destination given and no map — just a voice to follow and a promise. Sarah believed for what her own body said was impossible. Moses carried a covenant offer to a people who refused it, looking toward Christ the whole time. David carried the law within his heart long before Jeremiah declared it, a man after Yahweh's own heart who ran toward Him when everyone else ran away. Isaiah was undone, cleansed, and sent — not by his own preparation but by direct encounter. Hosea lived the heartbreak of Yahweh's own pursuit in his own marriage, loving what kept walking away. Ruth came to Yahweh from outside the covenant people entirely, called by nothing she had been handed and everything she had witnessed. Mary said yes to carrying the Messiah with no framework for what that meant and everything to lose. Paul had every credential the religious system could offer — and had all of it dismantled so that what remained was Christ alone. Ten lives. One pattern. Full surrender to Yahweh, the law written on the heart, a life oriented completely toward Him — and in every case, the encounter was real, the cost was everything, and what Yahweh did in response was what only He could do. The chapter culminates in Jesus — the pattern lived out in a single human life without remainder. Not the first to surrender, but the one all of them were pointing toward. The firstborn of many. Which means the pattern did not end with Him. It continued in everyone who came after Him and surrendered the same way. "And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise." — Galatians 3:29 These were not extraordinary people. They were surrendered people. And the pattern that ran through every one of their lives is the same pattern that is available to anyone He calls today. 📘 All books available in free PDF download at www.senetru.com.
