We published an audio/magazine called Sequences for nearly twenty years and at the beginning of 2012 started podcasting on iTunes & more recently on Mixcloud & Soundcloud. We publish two editions each month, approx 3hrs in length. I have been in Electronic music for over 50 years now, from the early experimental sounds of Karl Heinz Stockhausen, the German scene in the 70s with Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Robert Schroeder, etc through to some of the more modern, trance, chill-out, ambient music, although we stay away from techno, house, dance and the more pop-orientated stuff.    We’re getting very close to our 300th edition! Unfortunately, due to a busy period in my personal life this year, I haven’t yet been able to put together a special edition as we did for our 100th and 200th milestones. However, I’m excited to share that there will be a special edition in place for this 300th podcast, focusing on a legendary musician with a cult following among fans and who has greatly influenced many of today’s electronic artists. In our latest podcast, we take a delightful journey through a variety of genres that truly excite the senses. While this approach might not resonate with everyone, we believe the diversity keeps things fresh and vibrant, showing our willingness to experiment and mix things up. Electronic music, in particular, keeps evolving, with passionate producers blending unique sound design, live instruments and avant-garde compositions, constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.    Playlist No 294 Losing two talented musicians last month is truly saddening for our music community. Robert Fox, a shining star in melodic orchestral electronic music and co-founder of Code Indigo, was affectionately known as “Master of the Grand Soundscape.” Bernard Szajner, the talented composer and visual artist, produced five innovative avant-garde electronic albums from 1979 to 1983. He also invented an extraordinary laser harp called the ‘Syeringe,’ and kindly agreed to create another for Jean-Michel Jarre’s performances in China.
