Without the Spirit, You Cannot Please God

Paul teaches that pleasing God is not first about external action but about the heart. A person may do many righteous things, attend church faithfully, and appear outwardly religious, but without salvation and the indwelling Spirit, that effort cannot make him pleasing to God. This episode emphasizes the difference between religious effort and true spiritual life. The Spirit of God only indwells those who belong to Christ, and without knowing Jesus, all outward righteousness remains unable to satisfy what God requires.
