Do Not Worry: God Does Not Abandon Us

Worry is a common part of life. We worry about our families, health, finances, work, studies and the future. But Jesus reminds us that we do not face these things alone. In this sermon from Matthew 6:24–34, Dorothy shares the message: Do not worry, because your Father sees you, knows you, cares for you and will not abandon you. Faith does not mean that worry, pain or fear never come. Faith means continuing to turn toward God when they do. We are also reminded that God often cares for us through the Body of Christ, as others stand beside us and help carry what we cannot carry alone. We can act faithfully today, place what we cannot control into God’s hands and trust him with tomorrow.

Called by Grace, Sent to Bless

Why does God choose ordinary people? Why Abram, a wandering shepherd? Paul, a former persecutor? Peter, a fisherman who knew his own failures? This Sunday we will explore three powerful Bible passages—Genesis 12:1–4, Romans 1:1–7, and Luke 5:1–11—and discover that God's call has never been about finding perfect people. It has always been about ordinary people transformed by his grace. Through the story of an old violin restored by the touch of a master's hand, we will see how God calls us first to belong to him, then invites us to trust him, and finally sends us to become a blessing to others. If you've ever felt unqualified, uncertain, or wondered whether God could really use someone like you, this message is for you. Come and discover what can happen when our response to Jesus becomes Peter's simple confession: "Because you say so."

   The Gift That Changed Everything

What is the greatest gift God has ever given his Church? On the first Easter evening, the disciples were hiding behind locked doors, afraid of what lay outside. Yet Jesus came into their fear, spoke peace over them, breathed on them, and gave them the Holy Spirit. Before sending them into the world, he gave them everything they would need to fulfill their mission. This message explores why the Holy Spirit is God's greatest gift to the Church. We will discover how the Spirit gives us new life, replaces fear with peace, empowers us to share the good news of Jesus, and sends us to be ambassadors of God's forgiveness and reconciliation. Whether you feel confident or hesitant, this sermon is a reminder that the same Holy Spirit who empowered the first disciples still equips God's people today. Come and be encouraged to step out in faith and join the mission Jesus has entrusted to his Church.

   Intimate Friendship with God

God does not want to be distant from us. He invites us into a real, personal relationship with him. In this message, we explore what it means to grow in friendship with God by abiding in Jesus, making space for quiet time with him, and learning to walk with him throughout everyday life. Jesus says, “I no longer call you servants… I have called you friends,” reminding us that through Christ we have been welcomed into God’s presence. Through Scripture and personal stories, this sermon encourages us to stay connected to Jesus, listen for the Holy Spirit, and make our relationship with God more than a Sunday activity. God knows our thoughts, our fears, our struggles, and our hopes—and he invites us to come closer. May the prayer of Moses become our own: “Show me your ways, that I may know you.”

Lead Like Jesus - Kristian Tjemsland

What does it really mean to lead like Jesus—not from strength and control, but from mercy, humility, and attentiveness to real human need? In this message, Kristian Tjemsland reflects on the story of Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46–52) and what it teaches us about leadership, faith, and vulnerability. On his way to Jerusalem, fully aware of what awaited him, Jesus stopped to listen to a blind man crying out, “Lord, have mercy.” Jesus did not assume what Bartimaeus needed. Instead, he asked a simple but profound question: “What do you want me to do for you?” Through personal stories and biblical reflection, Kristian explores how Jesus meets people exactly where they are—without demanding achievement, improvement, or self-sufficiency first. This message challenges the common idea that we must “climb” spiritually or have all the answers, and instead invites us into a posture of dependence, honesty, and shared humanity. Whether you lead in church, family, work, or simply in everyday relationships, this teaching reminds us that Christian leadership is not about having power over others, but about seeing, listening, and walking alongside—just as Jesus does. A timely and encouraging reflection for anyone longing for a deeper, more Christ-shaped way of leading and living.

   Leadership formed by the Servant

In this message, Hajnal Kiss explores what it truly means to lead like Jesus. Drawing from Isaiah 42, Matthew 3, and Acts 18, she shows how Jesus redefines leadership not as power or control, but as humble service, obedience, and the nurturing of others. This sermon invites us to examine our character, our posture toward people, and the kind of community we are helping to build, calling every believer to lead with the heart of a servant in their homes, workplaces, and church.

    Christmas Eve

This Christmas Eve message reflects on the quiet moments that change everything—not the loud or dramatic ones, but the small and often unnoticed turning points. As part of a family-friendly service with an extended Children’s Time, this shorter sermon explores how God works through what is humble, ordinary, and easily overlooked. Drawing from Micah’s prophecy and Luke’s Christmas story, the message reminds us that Jesus is born not into power or perfection, but into real life. From Bethlehem to the shepherds, we encounter a God who chooses presence over control and love over force—inviting us to move from fear toward trust and hope.

Advent is a season of waiting

Advent is a season of waiting—but not anxious, restless waiting. It is winter waiting: quiet, restrained, and full of promise beneath the surface. In this sermon, we explore how Scripture invites us to trust that God is already at work, even when nothing seems to be happening. Drawing on Isaiah 12, Psalm 92, and Philippians 4, we hear a consistent message: God’s final word is not judgment or fear, but comfort, peace, and joy rooted in God’s nearness. True Advent joy does not deny darkness or difficulty; it grows from knowing that God holds us while things remain unresolved. As we approach Christmas—and as we celebrate baptism—we are reminded that salvation is God’s work before it is ours. Like seeds beneath frozen ground, hope is already alive. The waiting is not empty. And on this fourth Sunday of Advent, the waiting begins to sing.

    Why Lead Like Jesus?

Why Lead Like Jesus? Scriptures: Malachi 4:1–6; Psalm 85; Luke 21:25–36; Romans 15:4–13 Theme: We lead like Jesus because His coming restoration calls us to live with hope, humility, and holy urgency. Advent reminds us that we live and lead in the “not yet”—a world waiting for the light of Christ. These Scriptures show a coming restoration where God heals, judges, renews, and gathers the nations. Servant leadership prepares the way for that kingdom. We don’t lead for applause or control, but with hope, integrity, and anticipation, reflecting Christ’s character while we wait for His return.

The Secret of Contentment, Generous Worship, and God’s Faithful Provision

In Philippians 4:10–20, Paul reveals a radically different way to live: a life marked by deep contentment, generous worship, and trust in God’s unfailing care. Drawing from his own highs and lows, Paul teaches that contentment isn’t natural—it is learned as Christ strengthens us through every circumstance. This passage also shows how generosity becomes an act of worship. The Philippians’ gifts to Paul were “a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God,” reminding us that giving is more than support—it is spiritual devotion. Finally, Paul anchors the church in God’s promise: “My God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” God’s resources are limitless, His care is personal, and His provision is faithful. God cares for those who trust Him, and generous people learn to see His provision more clearly. This sermon explores how contentment, generosity, and trust grow together in the Christian life, shaping us into a people who live from Christ’s sufficiency rather than our own.

The Habits of a Servant Leader

This message explores the hidden habits that shape every servant leader. Seth Ueland Chancy teaches that real strength doesn’t come from charisma or public gifting, but from the unseen rhythms of prayer, solitude, Scripture, and worship. Looking at Jesus’ own pattern of withdrawing to pray, we see that public strength always flows from private surrender. Romans 12 calls us to be living sacrifices, formed daily by renewed minds and transformed hearts. From Elijah’s encounter with God in the gentle whisper to the steady shaping of character through spiritual disciplines, this sermon shows how leaders are formed long before they lead others. With practical steps for building strong habits and a call to let your roots grow deep in God, this session invites you to lead with quiet strength, resilience, and grace.

    Donny Martinus

What does it mean to live as a role model for Christ? In this message, Donny Martinus shares a powerful reflection from Mark 5 on the transformation of the demon-possessed man at Gerasa. Once isolated and tormented, he encountered Jesus—and his life was completely changed. But the story didn’t end there. Jesus sent him back to his community to be a living witness of God’s mercy. This message explores what it means to live as transformed people in today’s world—shaped by God’s love (agape) and called to love others with that same sacrificial devotion. Whether at home, at work, or in our communities, every believer carries influence. And through humble, Spirit-filled love, we become visible testimonies of God’s grace. Together, we reflect on how to love like Jesus, lead with humility, and live faithfully as His disciples in the everyday moments of life.

The Hands of a Servant Leader

Servant Hands: Leading by Doing True leadership isn’t about titles or talk—it’s about action. Jesus didn’t just teach servanthood; He lived it. Drawing from Matthew 28:19–20 and John 15:4–5, this sermon invites us to lead by doing—to serve from our connection with Christ, act in love, equip others, and bear lasting fruit.
